Dear Zindagi - an Alia Bhatt 'key' movie or a little revolution?

8 years ago, Gauri Shinde's second movie (after English-Vinglish) released worldwide (in Northamerica 2 days before)... many allusions to Alia's previous movies and also a movie about general mental health issues...

What do you think? What did you like about the movie? What would you criticise?

Well, views but no comments...so, I celebrated the 8 years alone...it seems that even those who like Alia had nothing to say about endorsing with her performance that going to therapy is a quite good and positive thing when dealing with certain issues (instead of resorting to alcohol or drugs/pills).

Such a positive movie in her filmography smiley1 ...and she was so happy to work with SRK...

I find it a bit sad that Gauri Shinde didn't make another movie till date...

I was irritated with Alia's childish acting. She didn't act like a grown up.

Rest the approach to make a movie on mental health was good. But i skipped a lot of scenes. Maybe a part 2 with a different cast will be good?

Also because of Alia, I could not even take SRK seriously. Eveeything looked out of place.

I hadn't the impression of "childish" but of immature (which makes sense in that movie). However, I would understand if not everybody is a fan of this movie.

The movie took it's time to establish the issues that later got addressed in the therapy... and yes, it was still a mainstream movie, not an offbeat one...personally, I liked how Jug handled the therapy...quite practical.

I also liked that Alia's character had to do with filming (she plays a cinematographer, a quite rare profession for a woman).

Thanks for taking your time to comment smiley27
