The so called elite Hindi audience stopped enjoying any content at all because they seem to be drawing more entertainment from just being cynical and overtly critical of every single thing in a movie and shredding it apart. They stopped going to the theaters even. The ignorant Hindi content makers are still stuck to these cynical bunch and trying harder to pleas them. No wonder the core audience has moved on to the South Indian content.

Thats not true...there is a strong division among audience now...for example, if a movie like Kahani is relased now...It will not get any success, even will be brutally trolled by calling it a ''woke '' movie..Thats the situation now...There is no middle ground. The core audience still wants the routine masala movies,the recent successes are proof.Its not about content, its simply the age old ''template'' movie...We are regressing as audience...Maybe have reached the saturation point by Dangal.Just like the world order right now being ''far right"

Its not being cynical, its getting tired of watching the same template..Look at the serial loving audience, large group still enjoys it...While a lot can no more tolerate,you cannot accuse the ones who cannot enjoy serials cynical, its simply because they got tired of it...
