Budget will increase when they have to make new sets whether they are shooting indoors or outdoors. Zard’s sets were low budget & Qej’s are better looking. I anyway liked Qej more than Farar so I ain’t getting into this vs that. I had an issue with the hypocrisy only.

PTV doesn't make sets for normal dramas, they rent out houses and shoot there. It's impossible for us to know the budget of the two shows but anyways I actually enjoyed Farar more

I have always said that as an audience audience my only concern is good content. Trp or views se producers ko paisey Milty hai.

She put forth her conditions before Noufil before saying yes to the marriage. Her completing her medical studies & directly asking financial help for it. Also not having kids till she wants them herself. Show me one more character like her in currently airing or recently aired dramas.

TRP wars started when TB started doing well in terms of ratings & views. It’s always the other side who starts it. I doubt anybody was concerned about these things before that.

Even Farar looks low budget in comparison to Duniyapur & GM.

TRP also matters for actors, especially those who aren't well established in industry, as good TRP gives them more money and better projects.

Coming to trps n views, like someone mentioned here. That shouldn't be the concern of fans but, the show producers n actors. This new obsession with views n trps n the comparison isn't required at all. Those who love drama1 will continue watching that n those who love drama2 will continue loving that.

And most importantly, trps are not in our hands, especially India n other country viewers who don't contribute to it.

Yup 💯, it's matters a lot for non nepo upcoming actors. It doesn't matter for A listers like Yumna, Sajal, Wahaj and Bilal etc. it's still a nice to have for them

TRP also matter for actor's payscale. If someone keeps delivering commercial flops, you can bet your ass the PH will be re-negotiating their fees in the next project. Conc=versel if someone gets a big hit, their pay rate will increase. It also affects the kind of projects that get offered.

If you are doing cause-based dramas then it won't matter as much. Though I don't know if actors charge less for artsy or cause-based dramas.

I remember the good ole Mann Jogi and ZPKB days when people loved to waltz in here and sneer at their lack of ratings or youtube views from "global audience" or whatever else they could pick apart.

Now its heart warning to see the same people sing a different tune. Life is all about evolving and learning and changing your incorrect views i guess..
