He was always faking it, in first few episodes too, he never intended to off himself, he always acted.

The world of SMD and even caught it in some reviews, people keep repeating "Why is Sadaf saying no to Amar?"

For me, there was no other option than a "No" when he threatened suicide but reviewers also felt that she should have considered so I assumed it was a cultural difference
