So Akshay is back? I thought he refused the movie earlier?

I’m not sure why Akshay had said no or what made him change his mind later. But out of everything he has coming up, this is the only one that has a real shot of becoming an actual success and breaking his flop streak.

So did he come back to the franchise because Kartik left? Or was Kartik kicked out after Akshay agreed to come back?

Wow Kartik was signed for this movie?I wonder if he got Akshay role or someone else role? But happy to know Akshay is back. Back then Akshay was asking for a higher fee. I wonder if he came back due to his straight flops. Akshay should do more comedy movies. He is good in comedy movies.

He probably realized only this series and some good comedy roles could save him.

We'll probably never know for sure if Kartik left or was dumped, but obviously every person will tell the story that best suits them.

So Karthik is not in it ?

Looks like Akshay is back with HP 3 maybe because the three leads are spotted together.Maybe after series of flops he realised he needed it.If HP 3 is made I want all the three orginal leads.About Kartik I went though some old articles there the other two leads after facing backlash about Kartik replacing Akshay in part 3 confirmed that Kartik is no more part of HP 3 or he is totally playing a new role.Maybe Kartik will play a new role or he isn't part of HP 3 anymore because Kartik is busy shooting for his other movies now

He was the replacement for Akshay. Whether he was doing Akshay’s role or a new character, no one knows. This was announced after BB2 became a huge success. But there was also a lot of backlash to him replacing Akshay even though at the time the makers let it be known that Akshay himself didn’t or couldn’t do HP3.

I do not understand why did Katrik agreed to do the movie? I mean Akshay character was appreciated a lot. And lots of fans got so angry at Akshay for rejecting the movie. I wonder if Kartik is kicked out from the movie. Maybe Akshay reached out to HP3 makers and asked them if he can come back. I am glad he is now part of HP3. Akshay made tons of money, hope he will continue to do good movies.

Kartik is a good actor but i do not see him as a superstar. And I hope he can stop chasing Akshay movies lol focus on your different movies. Not sure why Akshay was not part of BB2?

My guess is after BB2 Kartik felt that replacing Akshay in another franchise would be another success for him.
