We all know that "Anupamaa" has been a bit of a disappointment recently, but here's a related yet unrelated post about it.
Our beloved Sonpari has a new movie coming out that tackles the same theme, and I'm definitely planning to watch it!
This movie raises the question: Is it really possible for a woman to leave a meaningless relationship?
Shows like Anupamaa, Mangal Whatever, Pushpa Impossible, etc explore similar topics.
This reminded me of the storyline in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon where RK and Madhu try to get Madhu's mom and Malik married. I didn't quite grasp its significance at the time, but now I see it was quite progressive for its era.
Back to the movie—it's centered on an important topic, and I hope it receives the recognition it deserves.
Since it's based on a novel, I'm optimistic that the writing will be strong.
I am writing this post only so more people are aware of the existence of the movie.
Aur kuch nahi toh Sonpari hi yaad aa jayegi logo ko.
Gal is an actual sonpari maybe, barely aging.
