while I agree that the narrative was building towards a hateful relationship given BBG evil twin as shown to us… it is in a writer’s ability to make a narrative shift…and get the buy-in
my point was situationally they did not create the ground to let anything sink in…. It was like a bitter tonic shoved down the throat…I don’t think they lingered on the feelings enough for us to warm up to the new dynamic… Having a parent who is at least stays accountable for past mistakes would be a better option than a parent who wilfully refuses to acknowledge your existence!! But the writing is so pathetic that the dynamic hardly makes any impact…Jhanak’s lines are so bookish and the acting sub-par ( I don’t blame the actor… really tuf to feel the emotion which does not exist😂😂) Her memory loss, her decision to stay anonymous, taking on a new identity, finding a parent in this stage of life when all is seemingly lost could have been important points in the story of the leads had been involved with each other’s story in a more significant way…
For instance that scene of sending flowers to Nutan was so mindless; the audience is supposed to imagine that Ani who sits with a pillow staring vacantly fending off baby making demands had the mind space to send flowers to Nutan for her competition 😂😂😂 what even was that nonsense?
Rekha ji, my request to you would be to not consider Leena as an able writer or story teller..I have said it multiple times in a humourous way that the initial episodes were written by someone else..Well I strongly believe so... When I got to know that it is Leena's show, I still decided to stick to it as I thought may be for national audience she has changed her style...but since Anishit marriage, whatever is shown, is actually Leena's style of storytelling...this is the trademark storyline that she follows in most of her shows..So anything logical and organic from the show atp is implausible..
..Despite this, I still find it to be a dumb approach to not focus on leads' journeys and their inner turmoils, even if separately and focussing more on unnecessary BH drama and side characters with no real contribution to the story, even if we only consider the business side of it...if they think that they will stay in the business for a long time with this shit, it is a distant dream given their current approach to progress the story.
