Hey Priya.. good to see you..๐ค
Enjoy your holidays.. nothing to watch in the serialโฆ As far as I am concerned, Ani & Jhanak eloped from Kashmir and any unresolved issues they dealt with from then on away from our prying eyes ๐๐๐๐
Like I was saying now feel really silly writing about this serialโฆ I have never watched Leena ever.. While a lot of viewers kept saying Leena will mutilate the storyโฆ I was in disbeliefโฆwhy would one want to intentionally bury love in this wayโฆas a writer writing a love story. While it remains a writerโs prerogative to put across her perspectiveโฆ
I can understand if the story was intentionally poised as an upfront EMA story where if Ani and Arshi were shown as a couple cohabiting in a committed relationship and Jhanak had come into their livesโฆThe writer made no attempt to project the love between Ani and Arshi except to show them as a couple who was expected to marryโฆ yes there were hints in the very beginning of their love etc but really nothing binding ( at least in how I saw their story) to think of a disruption of a love storyโฆ I am not a young woman but even I will safely sayโฆthe so called moral dilemma which Jhanak experienced primarily was only a conscience thing from her end.. In Amiโs case, obviously as a young man more experienced with the world the dilemma was never projected and so a late surge at this late stage if one wants to call it an attack of conscience is so poorly narrated if that was her intention. It is coming across as an expedient thing be it love or doubtโฆ
I woulf think as a writer Leena would have found a way to resolve any issues as the love between Ani and Jhanak was built so so beautifullyโฆ Itโs a fictional tale but I feel for that loss ๐ฅฒ
Now they have reached a stage that it just seems all pointlessโฆ You enjoy your holidays and donโt bother watching anything Leena is up to no good. Pop into the forum for some harmless fun where we just write to vent it out ๐๐
Bold 100%. Content needs to be worth spending time on. Took your advice and stayed away from the episodes. It just makes me feel sad on account of a bad demise to a beautiful start.
It always happens this way tho...even n Imlie they made the ML so stupid and ineffective that it was difficult to respect him or give any relevance to his emotions.
Somehow in that show the ML got replaced, here with laachaar seeming and flip flopping Ani still very much ML - there is no more hope.
What interests me still is whether they really relegated Urvasi as a simple good yet delusional woman who talked herself into imagining love and marriage to BBG or is there another twist here. Shristi kept saying J is repeating what her mom did, which means Shristi believes Urvasi deceived her wrt BBG. So is there a misunderstanding for SM wrt BBG and Urvasi or is part of the story still not out? For now that interests me more than Runak.
Ani's love for J has been watered down so much with his acceptance of Arshi. At least if they had not shown him maligning Arshi post J's perceived demise - I would have been ok. Having him mouth all those insults to Arshi and then have him go to her for comfort - yuck...what a character.
Tell me one thing as a writer does Leena realize the end does not justify the means and that the means can kill the effectiveness of a story? Is that why this concept was projected to Ani as well? Just bringing Runak does not erase from most viewers minds the path that led to it with the brutally dilution of characterizations and emotions...or does it?
The real issue for me is they could have easily written up an Ani who was acting nice to Arshi to get her to stay and not really being a weak man - so he can expose her - etc. But Leena chooses intentionally to degrade her ML. She seems to be acting like someone who overall has a very poor opnion of all men in general - which leaves such a bad taste in the mouth.
Back to where you and I often disagree - I cannot agree that this is writers laziness; this is intentional killing of ML's character and strength. :)
Fingers crossed; there is something salvagable from this mess of a story, tho I dont hold out much hope. One more thing - I want to see if Arshi will indeed give up Ani once she realizes her mom's story; or if I was wrong in that regard.
