For a change, it was good to see Savi smile properly, even though it lasted for a second or two.
And finally! Makers remembered that there was someone named Ishaan.
I don't care much if the makers blindly copy-paste the OG or reintroduce their toxicity; but at least they should stick to the basic characteristics of Savi. What about her pain? Her loss? Her liking for plants? Her giving up on happiness?
It's okay to address men's trauma. However, that doesn't mean you forget the protagonist and take a 180 degree flip.
Sometimes I feel it's just Bhavika and the director who remember Savi's traumatic past and that's why she has the BICHARI look plastered on her face. But you need a proper story to back that up. You won't be able to recreate the light hearted scenes of OG because Savi is not the OG FL. And if you want to show her moving on, that;s great but introduce her original traits. Show how she's struggling, how she's slowing getting back to her original self, restore her connection with nature at all.
Anyway, for me the biggest shock was Shree's realization. After what she did during the molestation track, I thought she would justify Lucky's action. At least she has some inkling that her Raja Beta hasn't even spared their family members and is capable of stooping to the lowest of low. For once, I was glad that she rebuked Tara.
But this is ITV... We never know when she'll flip and start her 'Savi Murdabad!"
