That's a big reality check for India ahead of a huge five-Test series against Australia. They still have a Test to play in Mumbai but a series loss here would have dented their confidence big time. Rohit and Kohli's form needs addressing. The middle order also has been all over the place in this series barring a couple of good innings from Sarfaraz and Pant. They still lead the WTC points table but the gap at the top is not a lot now. For New, Zealand, this is a mammoth win and they did it without their best batter around. We were won back 2 back 2 series in aus. Do you know in sep 2024 Sri lanka beat NZ in both WTC 2/0 so their captain Southee steps down so latham take over and they win 2 out of 3 test.

You can not cancell series, bumrah will be captain in aus at perth test as Ritika R. Sharma expects their 2nd child, so Ro will re-join indian team for 2-5 tests.

Gill should stay but Virat is the only one who after the 10 innings in Aus should go, if he get successful or not.

Virat will for sure retire by the next cycle irrespective of form. But saying that selection is dependent on PR is a choice. If Santner ca run through Gill and Sarfaraz, Lyon is a much better bowler than the him and will bulldoze the youngsters. The focus should be on getting Rohit-Kohli-Ash back in form so that the youngsters get to make mistakes without high-stakes pressure.

I dunno how people are saying that everyone should be dropped without a single thought to who would captain or tighten the bowling or grind?

We don't incentivise test cricket like Australia or England but want brand new kids to headline BGT. Like, okay, I guess.

Team India has to rethink about their strategies and management has to revise their decisions once again before the start of big Australian series.

The worst thing we can do rn is overwork our best player. Jaspreet is worth his weight in gold, and he shouldn't be overcompensating for other structural issues in the team. He is a much better captain but we cannot overwork him at all.

We have no other choice koz virat do not wants plus india do not want Ashwin who is senior member. When captain not available vice captain lead, bumrah ji our vice captain for test.
