I don’t think the actors would want to look old even if their character is old on screen. Also audience like to see presentable leads who look decent look wise. Before Prena, Tulsi, etc still looked the same despite being grandma and great grandma. Prena used to look same age as her granddaughter lol.

Ek practical business idea:

Take a big leap to enforce a a fresh new cast --> Cast the "actual " middle-aged stars --> Have a fresh new start of the storyline.

How is it a business idea? Well, here goes:

1. Older, mature cast brings nostalgic viewership.

2. They are very good actors who can be cast at a competitive remuneration which is always beneficial for the the Production House.
