Thankfully you meant the original song and its reprise I need a trigger warning next time lol. I think Dhadkan 2 has been announced so it's more likely than not we'll get a remake of this song

Anyway I love both versions of the song but I listen to the first one more. The scenery is prettier and I like the part where Shilpa imagines Sunil is back singing his signature song, Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan Mein. Also Shilpa's iconic run through the fields and her attacking Akshay at the end when she realizes he's not really Sunil makes for a better scene.

There isn't much of a difference but the time when Udit Narayan recorded this song he was at this peak, there wasn't a voice that was as good as his, Narayan has an amazing voice. KK ws another singer who had amazing voice.
