I didn't watch regularly but didn't Pushpa loved and cared deeply for Karishma? She only badmouthed her at face but otherwise did the entire household work right from cooking to cleaning. She was only against Karishma being over aggressive.

She was even shown praying to God for Karishma and her well being. In fact unlike most MILs she liked when Lalla praised Karishma? Or were these later additions and earlier they showed her being toxic?

I didn't understand why they never brought her Lalla into the show, he could have been brought as a guest character for few episodes.
