Well yeah .. a star's job is to get people to theaters and Prabhas has a crazy fan following who has been doing that consistently

Even his flops Saaho and that romantic movie took good openings if I remember correctly

What rubbish. Nobody is "flop-proof." If a movie is terrible or doesn't appeal to the masses, it will flop no matter what. Adipurush was a disaster.

But real stardom is when your movie generates hype and is able to make more money than your average flick despite being a flop. Saaho still made 300 crores in India. Salman still doesn't have a movie below 100 crores since he first joined the club. Yada, yada, yada.

Saaho was actually a hit, lifetime it made 150Cr. Pretty good number considering that lately movies barely make 60 crores liftime.

Only his radhe shyam failed to bring opening numbers!!

Tbh, he always gets massive openings. Main criteria of checking anyone's stardom

Saaho is one movie that I watched only for him (and regretted 😀), such was his Bahubali craze for me. After that, I didn't feel like watching any of his later movies till Kalki. I hope he can regain whatever he had during bahubali - he looked better, acted better and was super charismatic.

I do think he is one of the biggest superstar in India right now - whenever any big director has a big vision, they trust him with it and he has delivered so far
