Hi Im a fellow Macunian. Im from Manchester and it is city that possibly has the highest number of international students in UK. Dont know the ratings for last year, but was definitely was on my year. It is very welcoming to Asians. In fallowfield some 15mins away from Uni campus - you get something called Curry Mile that where the Indian restaurants are, kebab shops, sarees, churidars, indian sweets shop. Manchester is a really great Uni. Weather is kinda moody. one day sunshine, one day rain. The Indian Society is very active - organizing sewa week, Bhangra Nights, we recently had an themed end of year Ball 'Ticket to Bollywood'. There are 2 mandirs (if you are hindu) which is nice to have during festivals like divali, holi. My friends tell me in other Uni there is not that much activities if at all. If you need more info about Manchester PM me... Im sorta in a hurry.

I would say Manchester, but my aunt did go to university in University of Cardiff in the 1980s although I have not talked to her much about her experiences there.
