Bumps off Katrina from the sequel to 'Welcome'

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have made a hit on-screen pair, much to the dismay of beau Salman Khan.

It worked out perfectly for them in last year's hit 'Welcome'.

The movie almost tripled Nana Patekar's rather mediocre salary and actually put Anil Kapoor right back on the map.


Obviously, the makers want to cash in on the success and make a sequel to it. Considering the kind of movies Aneez Bazmee makes, it hardly matters whether it's a sequel or not. It's still nonsense personified!

The sequel is being planned but the news is Katrina Kaif's not keen to be the part of it because she has a few prior commitments and will not be able to manage the dates.

This dame seems to be riding high on her success and doesn't look like she's coming back to mother earth any time soon. Probably a few slaps from someone special could do the trick!

Well, Deepika is looking at her prospects in a commercial way. She wants to be in sellable projects, so box office wise this is a good movie not to prove that she is a good actress. OSO would probably have more scope to act than a Welcome 2 at least for a female.
