Will an inter-faith romance movie sans patriotism work in todays time - Page 2

If those movies have a positive message with happy ending then its good. Otherwise, not interested in watching violence and eventually both lovers dying. That is unacceptable for me.

And most of these movies are like that with sad ending and violence.

In Modi's India any producer will be scrutinised to death if they were to show this.. so not surprised to see very few.

Exploiting religious sentiments will always work.

I think on the ground level things are not as polarized as the politicians and media, especially a bunch of useless YouTubers, are trying to make it look like. My cousin recently married a Muslim girl hailing from Lucknow. The wedding and the entirety went off pretty smoothly with both the families participating actively.

As for the movies , I only need the love story to be compelling and don’t really care about the background and backstory of the individuals.

Same observation ..my boss' both daughter and a son and 2 of my collegues all gt married to different religion/ states/ culrure and what not...mujhe toh laga tha kafi content milega dhamaka hoga😃 lekin sab extended families etc ne attend kiya sab smoothly ho gaya and they all are living peacefully..🤨
