So not only Ibrahim but this also hinges very much on Aliyah's wishes and wants. If she chooses to live with this man, she most definitely can and is not doing a sin. If she chooses to not go back to Shabbir even if Ibrahim divorces her, that is also a choice. Basically the story is also about Ibrahim and Aliyah realizing their individuality and the power of the choices they are making for themselves.
However, since this was planned halala, Shabbir and his mom are going to react like these two had an affair and ran off. Am curious to see how Shabbir spins this in front of society. He is not going to admit that he already gave her talaq or that this was planned halala. Or maybe he won't say anything and people will assume all sorts of things and Shabbir will use it for political gain?
yup you are right .. it is as much about ibrahim's consent and decision to divorce her it is on him and he can straight upo deny too ( even if it is planned he can still deny divorcing her after) and shabbir cannot do nothing becuase they are legallay and religiously mariied now. whetehr they want to live together or not it is now on ibrahim and aaliyah and shabbir is done and it is aaliyah's choice whether she wants A,b or none or a 3rd person..
