yup you are right .. it is as much about ibrahim's consent and decision to divorce her it is on him and he can straight upo deny too ( even if it is planned he can still deny divorcing her after) and shabbir cannot do nothing becuase they are legallay and religiously mariied now. whetehr they want to live together or not it is now on ibrahim and aaliyah and shabbir is done and it is aaliyah's choice whether she wants A,b or none or a 3rd person..

I can totally see Aliyah taking the lead. She seemed quietly mad and upset that her dignity has been trampled on that she wanted to self-harm herself. She will not go back to Shabbir willingly. Ibrahim in contrast is far more submissive and scared of life and the environment in general -- we don't often see MLs like that and so it will be interesting to see how they make the lead. Hopefully he won't be frustratingly naive like some of those too good hearted to be real FLs.

yes because if it is two talaq they are still in nikkah and technically nikaah pe nikaah nahi ho sakta for a woman.. which means yeh term hi nahi aati halala tak.. so he has definately done it thrice regretted and then come up with this as a solution as he considers her as his property something he can play like a toy with

Yes definitely. If this truth comes out they'll face a backlash. I also feel, they must have just not allowed Aliya to contact her family about divorce. Now they will misunderstand her as well. If at all she has a family

No. It depends on which school you follow. Three talaq doesn't mean that it's only one talaq. If someone says three talaq at once, it mean it happened according to Hanafi. Hanafi school of thought is widely followed in this subcontinent, hence the potrayal.

It's ofcourse a sin and most disliked form to divorce thrice all in one go. But divorce still happens and they can't live together anymore.

Whether they get divorced as correct process of one divorce a month or triple Talaq at once,Haan Iddat toh obviously woman has to do for three months after divorce.

Thanks for the clear explanation. It always gets confusing when you see different news and then you see it depicted another way in dramas.

Hopefully, we will get a happy ending and not some tragic ending where Shabbir offs Ibrahim and Aliya is either dead or left alone to face the storm. If we get a happy ending where the two confront the man and then walk away as a couple -- it will then be a striking story not just of romance but about the power of choice.
