What is interesting about a ru m o u r e d romance that reportedly has ended? That both can start new 'rumoured' romances?

Personally, Navya doesn't interest me and Siddhant is just the guy from Gully Boy and Gehraiyaan and is now paired with Tripti for Dhadak 2 smiley1 (which is interesting to me)

I’m surprised they lasted as long as they did, or that they were dating at all. The impression I have of Navya is of an absolute elitist snob whose entire career is a PR set up by her family. Basically the complete opposite of everything Siddhant is.
