Kaveri didn't even care for Rohit hosh to return before telling Ruhi to come as Rohit ki wife. Shamelessness hadh paar. Priorities and propriety sab gone for a toss.

Is it possible she accepts abhira and armaan's marriage just to ensure ruhi gets hitched to her loving grandson... As she is obsessed with ruhi and cant think of a better life partner for rohit. Unko apni badsahat bachane ke liye doormat bahuon ki zarurat hai and ruhi fits perfectly in that role.
