Childhood memories should have ONLY innocent friendship factor equally between - sagar- vedika - koyal...

Here it looks like sagar was so obsessed with vedika/jahnvi.... and this romantic relation in a week is sooooo out of place... NO BUILDUP at all ...

while koyal should be equally involved in important storyline.... I love her brainy/funny solutions !

If they want to show romance... can use koyal .... trapping / flirting with a rich / random guy as her mom forces her for money... with touch of humor!

I assume Sagar is attracted to Vedika and that's the main reason he is falling for her so quickly. Other than that, the two barely know each other which makes the cheek kiss precap very weird. If my boss kissed me, I would slap him or quit 😂 especially if we hadn't established that type of relationship. If writers are not careful, Sagar's character will appear weird and creepy.

@purple - YES! It's confusing to see Vedika boldly confront Rajeshwari and then have her shrink in front of Sagar. Recently, I started wondering if Vedika was hiding something. Does she know that she is Janvi? Are her interactions with Sagar all an act? If not, her personality is inconsistent.

@blue - It was hard at the beginning of the serial to figure out who the writers intended to be together Koel/Sagar or Sagar/Vedika. That's why many of us thought it was a love triangle. But I agree... I don't want to see a love triangle or such powerful and intelligent women fighting over a man 🙄.

@red - Writers have a lot of plotholes to fix. When I originally saw the promo I thought the focus was going to be on Saraswati, Vedika, and Koel taking revenge but every epi is filled with Sagar and Vedika's random romantic encounters. I guess fans love Sagika and writers are moving in that direction rather than sticking with the original story, but I was looking for Koel to have more of a role in discovering and helping with the case but she doesn't. Her character was on billboards and promos but the makers seemed to have changed her to a supporting character which I am not happy with.

@Pink: Even if we assume that Sagar is attracted to Vedika, it does not warrant such touchy feely scenes for no reason. I also want to see Sagika, no two ways about it, but the way those scenes are written is the issue, and the over-friendliness in what in the show would constitute a period of less than even the first 2 weeks? I would understand her falling into his arms if she was climbing up the ladder to go to Rajeshwari's room to collect proof and she fell off and he catches her or something, but the office one was absolutely unnecessary. Period. Also, given that they are lawyers, they are well aware of the POSH Act and what it constitutes, so it just seems ironic that they are the ones not abiding by that AT all. And yes, Sagar will seem like a creep if he is behaving in this manner with Vedika, especially when he is not aware she is his childhood love Jhanvi.

@Purple: It makes me wonder, are we watching the same show in the same episode itself because there is a zameen aasmaan wala difference in that behavior, it is not even typical to her character as was introduced to us. Okay, even if there is something to it, they have to explicitly give us a hint and show us that Vedika is also simultaneously investigating her own history and comes across the fact that she is Jhanvi, otherwise the lack of memory and her being submissive seems absurd. One of the first promos in the show itself alluded to her not knowing and wanting to find out about her past, but it has not been explored so far at all.

@Blue: It beats the purpose of having them meet after years, just to have them fight over a man. They have not even been able to enjoy the best years of their life as sisters in the first place, this will ruin it completely. It is more than important they are on the same page to fight for their father's justice at this point. Even the starting promo indicated they are on two ends of the spectrum, with Yamini/Koel using illegal means while Jhanvi/Vedika being morally straight, and it was Saraswati being the reason they come together. If the trio met multiple times in different situations, established a relationship, then had a dilemma/conflict over right/wrong and then Koel decided to see the light, it would still make more sense.

The case could have been in the BG, with each page opening up a new dimension of just how deep the rivalry is. There was a chance to show Gautam and Saraswati's love story (helps substantiate why she cares so much for him even after 20 years) Digvijay and Gautam's budding friendship, then the fall out and how Rajeshwari caused the rift in that friendship, it was important to show how Sagar's mom accepted the illicit relationship and tried her best to hide it from Sagar and/or his Dadi telling off Digvijay about it since she cares so much about her status, there was more context to be shared about the current families and mindset of the girls before they worked together on the case. Also yes, Koel had her own promo just like Vedika and Saraswati had theirs, so it made it seem like just like the Triveni Sangam, where Ganga Jamuna Saraswati come from different sources and meet in the Mahasagar, these three will come with their 3 different schools of thought and meet for the justice. A slow build up would help us feel greater for the cause and for what might come later, whereas right now, we are not as much invested in the characters because of the lack of information we have about them.

Idk if you have watched this other show that I like immensely and feel like really touched beautifully upon sister bonds called Kaatelal and Sons. There the romance was a subplot, while the entire narrative was centred upon two girls standing up for their family even with diverse standpoints on situations. The lead couple should ideally be never be made the only reason for people to watch the show and makers should follow their own creative flow, while carefully incorporating the audience sentiments, but given this one is supported mostly by Abhishek's fandom, looks they are changing it to cater to it. The only issue being it just makes Sagar look worse in the entire ordeal, because he is coming across as an obsessed lover/boss way too invested in his employee's life. I used to have the same issue with Dev in Ek Hasina Thi, he seemed to initially have no personality outside of his Nitya mera pyaar jaap. I don't want the same fate for Sagar here.

As for Koel, that will be a nice comic storyline to explore, as long as they don't drag it too much, and then they actually fall in love too.

As we were discussing in DT the fast paced storyline might be because SonyTV gave the makers 6 months time.

And it is true that some of the viewers watch ITV serials for sister sister bond, mother daughter bond but all serials have this male lead usually a good looking popular actor.

Because there is a group of people who wants to see a love story.

Initially I hated Sagar Vedika relationship because they made this weird knight in shining armour and damsel in distress thing

I love strong heroines.

But last few episodes Vedika became stronger, she fought coolly with Rajeshwari without Sagar’s help.

But the problem of the creatives is they can’t keep balance, Vedika ko strong bana diya to Sagar ko love sick puppy, obsessed with his childhood love but physically attracted towards Vedika.

And now if he kisses her then it’s super creepy.

And not only him Vedika also gives him those lovey dovey stares

In short it’s super fast without proper explanation and logic

I loved the car scene so much where Sagar told Vedika about Janvi and Vedika said “mera kya”

They should show more scenes like this which tells us that Sagar is falling in love with Vedika and he considered Janvi as his best friend.

As I wrote in DT makers want to show that it’s a magic, like Guruji predicted

Like a magic Sagika will be attracted because when they were kids they worshipped Khatu Shyam ji together and Vedika still has that kalash.

I mean I thinks creatives are forcing us to believe that this magic happens. Don’t look for scientific logic. For example the office scene the coconut from Vedika’s hand hit Sagar’s head then fell on the ground… which implied both together broke the coconut.

Same goes with Saraswati and her daughters.

Like how magical destiny brought them together.

But creatives did show nice scenes like three ladies fighting with the goons.

There are some scenes which are good

Like Koel in police station in that saree.

Or Koel Rajeshwari tea scenes. Sagar Vedika car scene.

Creatives are capable of doing good.

If they are doing this because they have to finish it within 6 months I wish they add more of those beautiful scenes.

@ bold - that's more logical. If sagar considers jahnvi his best friend and falls for vedika... at a bit later... starts with trust - friendship and progresses to love... smiley27
