True ... weekly rating is a curse....it affects top rated shows the most..they end up offering no story.

but it seems makers know what they r doing , such a show is still top 1 for years ; which means audience is accepting whatever they r feeding them.

PS : ( i know it affects all shows but some manage to show their original story as they already lost the game )
