Charu calling Omni and informing about ACD being shot. Omni
wants a detailed medical report but Charu has none. Only that
ACD is in Anna Nagar hospital and Priya is rushing. Omni is
visibly shocked ( these days every thing happens with out my
knowledge!!! and Charu is every where!!! Now, Roja who is Omni??)
Baggage comes and looks at a terrified Shanthi - gets to know
the news. He asks her to call Priya - Priya cries and manages to
say that she is still in the car. Hospital - ACD's dad and Priya -
Looks like ACD's mom is serious as well. Dad wants Priya to stay
with mom but Priya says that the police do not let all and sundry to
go in. Dad goes to JC and requests - JC says "Priya unga veetu
ponnu, why ask me?? ( JC sir, ithu gnayamaa??? ippo thaan Priya
kku permission kudipingalaa??? we all wanted you to issue a G.O
asking ACD to woo and marry Priya!!! Ipdi late pannalaama???)
Priya goes to the ICU where ACD's mom is lying with half open
eyes.

Deivam meeting Narendren - SKPD wants to know why he was
summoned so urgently. Narendran says that the police have almost
nailed the murderer. SKPD is curious and wants to know the
person. Narendran says that the police are convinced that SKPD
hired a henchman to kill ACD. SKPD is shocked and denies any
involvement. Narendran says that the police will either arrest him
or will stage an encounter. Ask s SKPD to go under - " hide yourself
some where until the real culprit is caught" SKPD is not happy
about going under for a crime not committed by him -" yov, I have
to go and sign in the police station every week, ippo...how??"
Narendran says that SKPD now has to decide between being alive
and signing in the police station. SKPD is........

PP is in the pooja. The police come looking for SKPD. PP is questioned but she has no clue about sonny's whereabouts. PP is informed about
ACD being shot and she frets. Wants to know if SKPD did that but
the inspector says that he probably hired someone to do that, PP agrees that SKPD did not like ACD - " Durai studied in our trust
and my son wanted assistance ( Oh athu thaan Asst.Commissioner aa???) but Durai refused. SKPD is my son alright but he is capable of all this. If u catch him, just kill him..." The inspector says that he might ask PP to take the witness stand once SKPD is caught. She assures her
help. Abi comes in with her lawyer and appreciates the Police inspector for being faster than she expected. She is also told that her dad has
gone underground. Lawyer frets that SKPD has made his position worse. Shankar and Narendran - Shankar says that SKPD must have been advised by some "arivu kettavan" to go under. Narendran wants to know who the culprit could be for which Shankar says .." if only we knew.... ( enna pannuvinga??? yen muzhusa mudikkalai nnu kettu avanai torture pannu vingalaa??? enna yya police neenga??!!) Shankar suspects Narendran -" enna yya ACD yai kanda unakku aagathu, athaan aalai vaichu mudikka plan pottiya??" Narendran denies this
accusation vehemently.

Maanga comes to visit - meets JC who informs that ACD's mom was shocked with the news - " brain le oru blood vessel vedichi, ICU le
irukkanga" Maanga wants to have a look and is allowed to see.
Maanga goes to Priya and gets her to do a conduced tour - first
to see ACD through the window and then his mom. Maanga consoles
ACD's dad - "pray pannunga , God will take care" - Dad says that
this news came to them only when they were in the temple. Maanga
instructs Priya to play nurse and leaves. The assassin - Joe's friend/
Manisha's bro - comes to a telephone booth and removes his helmet
( the video stopped here , some thing more was there?? may be!! those
who saw this episode pls fill in)

Sameen, the terrorist, calls his "Boss" from a pay phone and speaks in a mix of Tamil and Hindi/Urdu? Boss is disappointed that Sameen didn't complete the job. Sameen offers to finish the job at the hospital but Boss warns him against the idea as the hospital is ringed with police. Boss asks him to return to Kashmir but Sameen says he has unfinished business in Chennai and reveals that he is looking for his sister. Boss cautions against showing sentimentality while on a mission. But Sameen says it would be risky for him to travel to Kashmir anyway since the police would be on the lookout for him at railway stations.

Sarasu telephones for Charu and Madhan, the acting PA (since the real PA is doing nursing duties), wants to know the purpose of the call. Sarasu stammers and then finally says SKPD has gone into hiding, police are coming and going, Abhi is fuming and PP is extremely upset. Madhan is infuriated and asks why call Charu if SKPD is missing; you should call Charu if SKPD is caught and killed. He hangs up and then reports his conversation to Charu, who says nothing and then goes out after telling Madhan she has an important matter to handle.

Anitha and Indhu arrive at the hospital bearing toys for Rocky. Some inconsequential introductory conversation when Indhu meets Manisha for the first time. Two kids then bond at the hospital ward. Indhu regrets seeing Rocky in bed but Rocky insists he feels absolutely fine. Then Rocky says he doesn't feel like going to school or playing but he wants to go for a long walk nowhere or something to that effect. It must have been an expression of despondency for it was accompanied by the twang of the veena or some other suitable musical display of pathos.

Outside ACD's intensive care room. JC asks a doctor for help in setting up a room for a short police conference as the Commissioner was coming by to visit ACD and was also planning to hold a discussion with his police colleagues. Next scene, Commissioner in discussion with officers. JC debriefs on the forensic department report -- 4 rounds had been shot from a pistol (I didn't catch the model). Then he discusses the doctors' report: 2 bullets lodged in ACD's body; 1 removed, the other is in a difficult-to-retrieve position and the doctors are in a video conference with foreign doctors as they plan for its removal. Commissioner instructs that all enemies of ACD who are suspects be rounded up for questioning and that SKPD be immediately tracked down.

Charu arrives at SKPD's house and calls for PP. She goes upstairs in search of PP and is met by Abhi halfway on the staircase. Abhi asks the question that many viewers have posed to Abhi herself countless times: Don't you have any shame to be entering an open house like some unmentionable thing? Charu disregards her and goes upstairs, calling for PP, who comes out of her room and is pleased to see her daughter-in-law. Abhi orders PP back into her room, saying she shouldn't be talking to enemies but PP pooh-poohes her. PP says your father's enemy doesn't have to be my enemy. "If you have any manam and want to save it, please shut up," PP rebukes Abhi. Charu says SKPD is accumulating many pavams and police are coming into this house frequently in search of him. Abhi counters that many policemen were actually visiting SKPD to pay him respects. Charu ignores Abhi and tells PP to come live with her, adding that people with manam should quit living in such a house. PP says she had been hoping Charu would come invite her to live with her. Horrified, Abhi tells PP that it wouldn't look good if she left SKPD's home and went to live with Charu. PP replies that a home is one where there is peace. "There is none for me in this house, which is yours and your dad's." PP declares that she would not return to SKPD's house until father and daughter had redeemed themselves. As Charu leads PP out of the house, Abhi gives her famous constipated look, which soon turns to a furious glare.

Comical interlude. Srini's office. Vishnu asks Srini for the latter's rasi, saying Srini's stars must be awfully bad of late. Srini spouts some proverbs and Vishnu responds with proverbs of his own. Vishnu goes on and on with his commiseration, labelling Srini's situation as "very pathetic". Srini senses the hollowness of Vishnu's compassion and gets irritated. As the conversation continues, the police walk in, to Srini's horror. They demand that he go to the police station for questioning in connection with ACD's shooting. Srini says he will willingly come anywhere they want him to but with his lawyer. The police however insist that he come with them immediately and he has no choice but to comply. As they are about to leave, the police realise that the man with Srini is Vishnu, whom they were also planning to interrogate. So the two comedians are marched off to the police station.

Manisha, Anitha and Indhu come out of a shopping centre, bearing more gifts. As they are about to board a taxi, Indhu sees a parked van that is vending dolls and she insists on going across the road to buy one of the dolls. Manisha says she has had enough of haggling and asks Anitha and Indhu to go do the purchase while she waits outside the shopping centre. Anitha and Indhu walk over to the van and call out to the vendor, who happens to be none other than ... Sameen, the terrorist brother of Manisha's. Anitha is a bit taken aback; she suspects she has seen him somewhere but can't quite place him. Indhu asks for one of the dolls, Sameens says it costs Rp 650, Indhu bargains it down to Rp 500, and Sameen agrees. The purchase is made and Indhu and Anitha cross the road and show the doll to Manisha. The three are in animated conversation. Just then, Sameen looks across the road and recognises his sister. Freeze.
