Even SH who are big fan of krq’s writing said this time story is lacking depth. Lag rha hai kisi or ki story hai bas naam krq ka hai.
It doesn't look believable though. A middle aged man & an oldie falling for a lady who probably is their niece's age. Ya tou casting proper kar lete ya kuch aur likh lete.
KRQ's forte is deep dialogues not a good plot. MPTH wasn't a masterpiece either that way. It had good & meaningful dialogues though except that do takke ki aurat wala dialogue.

I hope Wahaj takes a break from love stories after SMD/TB 2. He shouldn’t be typecasted in only these romantic roles.
He’s too versatile and has experimented too much in the past for him to become typecasted. He’s played roles from Rumi to Basim to Jimmy to Junaid to Murtasim Aur woh kya karay? Aik cricket show bhi ker liya hai ab tou.
I do think he will stick to commercials for a bit. There is very limited variety in types of scripts - something he has complained about endlessly. And he’s not one to wait around. So he will work. I’m sure in between he will also be looking for challenging roles to do as well. I would personally love to see him as a full fledge villain.

How might he face typecasting? He has adeptly portrayed diverse characters prior to his recent role, unlike those who repetitively embody similar roles across various productions. If such repetition isn't deemed typecasting, then his involvement in a couple of commercial projects following his successful show shouldn't raise concerns either.
