@Bold- I remember there was a show called 'Ek Hasina Thi' with the same plot. The father was a surgeon and his daughter had been dead for years. A girl named Nithya gets admitted to him with a face completely ruined. So he gives her his daughter's face (Sanjeeda Sheikh's face) and she comes back as Durga to avenge her sister's rapists.

Now that is something believable as the man was a surgeon himself. And the motive behind her revenge is totally justified and acceptable cause the main rapist belonged to a very influential family and the police was on his side. So she had to take law in her own hands.

But Pari? Are Raju and Neeti this rich and influential that Pari can't even approach the police? It's clear that ye track jaan bujhke thop rahe hai makers just to make the audience think that Pari is brave like Neeti.

ek Hasina thi was a very good show. The FL actually had FL qualities. The victim was actually an innocent victim n the villians were actually villians n shaurya was not at all whitewashed or justified. Actually except the rape part, shaurya's playboy nature was similar to Raju's playboy nature.

It's actually one of the best revenge dramas I've seen on ITV. Had limited number of episodes, the casting was great, performances were top-notch.

Durga had all the qualities of a strong FL unlike miss fake wannabe Parvati Devi.

Saw a few short clips from today's episode.

Bhaisaab kya overacting kar raha tha ye Raju. Found it cringe and funny at the same time. And such over the top dialogues! I was like Ab thoda zyada ho raha hai beta. Itni bhi overacting nahi karni thi.

Ye dono apne maa baap ke marne ya coma pe jane par itna nahi roye honge. Full on chapri vibes!

Seems like we have a brand new namuna in town.

It's super weird seeing a mother in full makeup and jewelry on the day she has to perform the last rites for her dead daughter and throw the asthiyan into the river. Her guests were dressed more appropriately.

And is it that easy to give some stranger who you've barely known since a few hours the place of your daughter who has died just a few days ago?

I swear the writers of this show are unreal

They are not normal humans inn logo ki thought process, common sense, logic, moral, ethics kuch aur hi hai.

No wonder the actors are loosing interest in the show and "unable" to perform as they also can't connect to their onscreen characters. Especially Raju guy that actor was decent in the beginning lekin ab dekho kya acting ki band baja raha hai simply because he is unable to connect to his character and rightly so.

Aur rahi baat Aanchal ki then also see how she is always straight face expressions because how much I bet actress khud hi samajh nahi pa rahi hogi apne onscreen character ko.

During Pari seducing Raju and gaslighting Neetii and being Makaar phir acting all innocent was so out of place expressions by Aanchal.

Yeh sab isiliye ho raha hai kyunki iss serial ka sar pau kuch nahi hai. Writers ne band baja di hai. Almost all actors are clueless for their onscreen character. They don't know what to feel only

Bas ab sehen nahi hota.

PS: Why do I feel the actors will themselves give up with this show and hence it will go off air.
