I agree with this. I wouldn’t be surprised if the opening numbers are even lower. The movie has no buzz at all. These days however last minute corporate bookings gives it some push so you never know till the numbers come in.

They struggled to create hype on ground from what I am hearing. At first I thought that trailer was fine for the genre (which is tricky to cut good trailers for) but now I feel they should have included something from the second half showing his disability and training for swimming while paralyzed. Atleast a glimpse of him in the wheelchair.

The movie is about a paralympian. But you'd think it is about a boxer if you see the trailer.

It also doesn't help that this genre has been struggling for a while. Ajay Devgan couldn't make an amazing film like Maidaan work despite coming off a huge success like Shaitaan only a month earlier.

None of the songs took off in a big way either. The promotions have been shit too. I don't even know anything about film marketing and I can rattle off 10 things they did wrong.

Kartik's next two films are most likely sure shot hits, so he'll be okay, but I do feel for him.

Stuff like that almost always backfires, specially if the star is not fully established with time and history behind them. His PR always goes overboard but after BB2 they took it to a new level.

No not sarcastic....that was a genuine comment......because the trailer or something was even shown in Dubai on those towers.....Twitter is full of Chandu.....Kartik is everywhere promoting it.....so no ....I really thought it had hype.
