I got the answer. Sushant never won any award, chichore won for best movie national award and director said in his speech that Sushant made us proud.

Hmm … or it was Kartik’s PR 🤷🏽‍♀️. PR has become a nasty thing in Bollywood and I’m by no means dismissing the practice of rival PRs sabotaging or doing negative press. I don’t know if this will ever be proven to the public one way or the other.

Speaking for myself only, had it just been Viral who posted it I could have believed that it wasn’t his PR. Viral has a tendency to go cringe. But once Varinder posted it it became a PR thing IMO. Kartik managed to get his picture taken at his relatives’ funeral and make it a headline the day before CC trailer release. So yea his PR is nuts.

Sushant died very young and tragically. There’s still controversy surrounding his death. This poster is insensitive (not to mention inaccurate as CC only has 4 crores opening) and extremely manipulative because it’s using Sushant and the fact that he’s dead to prop up Kartik.
