Laws for minorities exist in most countries, it's to ensure the needs of the few don't get trampled by the majority. It's part of being United for the strong to not trampled the weak.

Whenever majority don't care for minorities bad things happen, example is pakistan or Germany under Hitler. Which is why sometimes you need laws to protect people who are less in numbers.

Indias culture is rooted in peaceful Hinduism which coexists with all other religion. Not the modern version being spread by some extremist parties and it's cults. Don't pretend that NDA leaders were not making open threat to other religions. The modern cult wants Hinduism to be a copy of other extremist religions and destroy the original idea of Hinduism.

Co-existence is a two way street. 👍🏻

NDA leaders did give such speeches, so did Indi ones.

@Bold - Okay! Which extremist religions are you talking about, Harish? Please name them.

So we are protecting minorities by allowing marriage of underaged girls of a specific community? Coz that's what the current structure allows.

I'm sure that's helping them not getting trampled by majority. Badhia wala women empowerment smiley42
