Yes , and may be that is why he finds peace with Jhanak.

She gives him all the attention and care he needs , even while arguing . She does all that he says .

Anirudh might have felt all the love and care he yearned for unknowingly from Jhanak . After her mothers departure Anirudh filled the void for her with all the care . Anirudh always needs an emotional support , they have shown him to be emotional

And hence the attachment and connection between them.

Shubo , Tanuja and Arshi wasnt an emotional support at all.
