It was the time when transition from fanciful 90s to a more grounded approach had begun , this movie being part of it . Iirc , it wasn't a hit from the BO reports/reviews that fell on my ears but again , my relation with them haven't been cordial enough & no wonder , I liked this movie as a good one time thing then especially the politico-crime segment (AB,Om Puri one i.e.) . The music even more .

great music. kareena was gorgeous and gave a pretty natural performance in the movie. after this movie her performance became more subtler.

Loved the movie. All songs were nice.

My favorite was Rani's acting. Abhishek also did ok.
