Mereko aaj ka episode samaj nai aaya. I am thoroughly confused on how they want to proceed with the show and love story.
Only good thing about the episode was Surya calling Imlie beautiful.
Tanu they again mentioned Agastya twice in the episode. Arjun bro figured out Anjali is Surya ki ex. Both delulu girls left for Benaras to question Surya about his feelings for Imlie. Surya ab sirf tattoo banwana padega tab inko samjhega.
Surya was annoyed at Anjali and saara gussa Imlie pe baras gaya. He calmed himself pretty soon after. Both Imlie and Surya forgot their luggage in the taxi (super careless) which had the original documents. Imlie was feeling so helpless as she does not want to be a burden on anyone and be more independent. I loved how Surya held her hand and they had that power walk.
Both were not able to get the originals on time and the officer refused to issue the admit card. Imlie was so dejected. Surya used force to have the officer issue the admit card. Imlie was annoyed at his ways. She indirectly sunaoed him that his rowdiness caused the death of Agastya. Imlie does not want to bend ways to get work done while Surya is fine to do that. Both challenge each other to get food for dinner using their own ways.
Yawn Yawn Yawn. It was not a bad episode but I just know we are going in circles. The writers have lost their shit again I am telling you. There was no need to bring in the idealogy related track right now when they are no where close to even liking each other.
Also, NSP gang, Sai ke shirt ke itne saare buttons khule the. What a view.... Aaj sab khush hone wale hai.
Apart from Malti and Anjali's delulu behaviour and goldfish wale expressions, the episode was mainly filled with Surya and Imlie's interactions, a refreshing break from the Reddy family drama.
It's now clear why they won’t change clothes for days; they left their bags in the taxi due to their josh. Or I guess it’s another way to rationalize the PH’s budget constraints for wardrobe changes.
I'm enjoying Surya's inadvertent slips, revealing his struggle to restrain himself from expressing his feelings. While him calling Imlie a pretty girl is adorable, his emotional outbursts are noteworthy. He faces criticism daily while trying to do what's right, leading to inevitable frustration, often in Imlie's presence. Man gets bajao-ed like a dhol by every woman in his life, I like when we see him let out some of that built up energy.
The emerging conflict between them is intriguing, blending both tension and potential for growth. They represent two extremes needing to find a middle ground to complement each other. Both of their nature has lead to fall in difficult positions, hopefully they learn something from one another.
I appreciated Imlie's mention of Agastya concerning her education, emphasizing her desire to be independent, to not be anybody’s responsibility. It’s not just his dream that she’s fulfilling, it’s her life that she’s trying to take back into her own hands.
That tender look Surya gave her before he took her hand was chef’s kiss, this guy holds so many emotions in his eyes I swear. Big kudos to both Sai and Adrija for their hard work and dedication. The past few episodes have been the kind that I’d be down to rewatch. I’m not excited by those other two coming to Banaras, I want to see more of Surya and Imlie’s adventures. Maybe Arjun Bro will do something to spare his Anna and Bhabhi bro some trouble, aage ki kahani jaane Radharani 🤞🏼

There was some growth in Imlie Surya conversation today but there was a lot of time waste too - them trying to recollect the name of the driver etc. These shorter episodes are increasing my frustration coz I feel we will be robbed by the writers.

Anjali starts with her drama of Surya badal gaya blah blah. Malti is super delu to support her. Both then decide to go to benaras to talk to Surya. Surya is damn angry when Anjali calls him and starts her drama. Today Surya again reiterated that Imlie is his responsibility. So is Surya still in the Zimmedari zone till now ? I thought he has started crossing the line into admiration zone. Anyway the editors played Surya - Imlie bgm during this conversation - I am total confused.

Here Surya and Imlie realize that they have left the luggage in the car. Imlie walks away thinking Surya will get the luggage and Surya in his worry about Imlie does not even take the taxi and so the luggage is left there. Anyway both come to the taxi stand and then they get the number of the taxi driver and it seems he has gone to Prayag and he will come only after 3 - 4 hours. The admission office is going to close in 30 mins.
It was sad to see Imlie feeling disappointed. I get her point of view. Everyone thought of her as a responsibility and she wants to be independent. Surya holds her hand and takes her to the admission office. The admission officer refuses to give the card as the originals are not there. Imlie comes out but Surya goes back and threatens the officer and the officer gives her the admit card.
And here is where I am totally lost. Imlie instead of feeling happy that Surya got the admit card, she lectures him on principles and his rowdy nature. This is quite hypocritical of Imlie. Did she also not board the bus without a proper ticket in the morning. If you tell every one to follow the rules then you should also do the same. Don't tell me that - since me breaking the rules are not causing any harm to anyone it is okay and you are doing rowdy-ness and so I can lecture you. This is called "holier than thou" nature
I get that both Surya and Imlie have 2 different perspectives. But I feel in this marriage unfortunately it is only Surya who is lifting the max load and you know I am actually feeling glad about the precap because Imlie is not at the same point in the marriage as Surya is. Both of them have married against their wishes but Surya is at least committed to the marriage. He is fighting every day with his family to take Imlie's side. But Imlie is like finding ways to shrink her responsibilities and run away at the first sign of danger. She is like that coward who needs the slightest sign of danger to run away to safety. Like Surya says - you need to be able to snatch your share of happiness in this world. Imlie needs to learn this important lesson.

Today's episode tells us why Surya and Imlie are in the same dress. Wonder when they will change into new dresses. This dress is now 3 days old. Sai definitely needs a hair cut and a lighter shade of foundation. Even though the shirt color was good my eyes goes towards his baloon ka gucha - Sigh.

Even if I were to get worried about these things, nothing would change. Joh hona hai woh hoga, all I can do is enjoy the few good moments that are given to us.
Waisi bhi hum to thehre pardesi, we don’t affect the TRPs. And for some reason that audience would rather watch EMAs, domestic violence and love pentagons.
The show is on the chopping block, unless a miracle occurs, it’s pretty much guaranteed that it’ll go off air. Whether there’s growth or not, Surya and Imlie will end up together.
Obviously, it would be nice if we saw things unfold in a nicer way, but I can’t put all my umeed on these writers.
The technical team and the lead actors give us some beautiful moments, I’ll just keep going with the flow and enjoy those for now.

The episode was going well till Surya got the admit card. But the conversation after that and the precap felt like going in reverse gear 
Matlab after the fun bus ride, hide and seek, goons ki dhulaiyi, arguing with family, haq jatana etc, we are discussing ideology??? I understand Surya and Imlie need this but time nahi hai. We may have one more episode of Banaras. Give them and us some good memories before Our leads are back in the mad house.
Ab kya tomorrow they will go to the officer’s daughter’s wedding and Imlie will do some naach Gaana? Bas trip over.
