I liked CJ ka scene when he told Nirmala and Indira that when you invite relatives you don't serve insult but rather treat them with respect.

I love CJ and Arjun - they are very good additions to the cast. And I loved the return of retro songs and vibes.

It's a shame that Sai/Adrija hard work and Surya/Imlie story potential is getting wasted in such mundane settings . Pata Nahi yaar why it is not clicking with me. I get heavily bored with them. It's not like that I don't like drama. I do like them. I used to be so invested in Chaudhary family dynamics and how it will affect Agsatya imlie relationship but woh wali feeling Reddys se nahi aati hai. They look like headache inducing fillers to me. It's a shame that whenever I will rewatch Surya imlie story, I will watch only their scenes fast forwarding all useless stuff.

Ab toh umeed bhi nhi kar sakte ki Reddys ko exit mil jaye. They are permanent now till end of show. Bahut bura lagta hai soch ke what they have made of this show.

out of all the topics available in world they have chosen bar singer conflict between Imlie and tayi Amma. Yeh Chaudharys itne traditional hoke woh logo ko kuch jyada fark hi nahi pada despite them having a painful history with the profession toh why should reddys have issue with it. The creatives are such ignorant of what Imlie Audience like and what not. It's like they are copying conflicts and scenes of Agastya imlie without putting in the thought that they would really fit in Surya Imlie story or not

They are pushing away their audience by constantly reminding them of malti raghu relationship.

I can't explain in words but tayi Amma, Nirmala and malti don't have spark as characters. Tayi Amma was always bland character from beginning but Initially I thought Nirmala and Malti could be the vamps whose planing plotting could bring leads together but they are looking annoying now. They are creating hall dramas which are boring for us regular Imlie audience who had gotten accustomed to seeing more romance than drama due to Agastya imlie storyline.

The stark difference becomes even more clear nowadays when just after their scenes bulbul Mami scene is there who gives more OG Imlie show vibes

So aaj bhi episode shuru hote hi khatam hua. But this was a more palatable episode because we got Imlie in better clothes and Surya-Imlie scenes.

First things first, things I loved:

1. Finally we are witnessing some progress between the two. I am loving the eye locks, nods and awkwardness between Surya and Imlie.

2. I am sure his heart skipped a beat when he saw his wife dressed up, coming down the stairs.

3. Happy to see Imlie give him water to drink, jhopdi scenes have my heart. These too can be civil with each other too.

4. He is low-key flirting with her by holding her hand and saying she can be his nishana anytime LOL.

5. Bechara SPR Imlie se darr gaya, took the blame for coming late on himself.

6. Loved the UP vibes and songs, Arjun is a sweetheart and CJ too.

7. Finally a better outfit for Imlie.

Things I absolutely did not like:

1. Surya ke kapde. Everyday they keep giving him bakwas outfits.

2. Imlie not apologizing to Surya. Mooh se apology kyu nai boli ja rahi isse.

3. CJ, Nirmala, Tayi and Malti scene was extremely long. Malti ki delulu to justify Raghu trying to hurt Imlie/ Surya. Iska kuch nai ho sakta.

4. Tanu is going to be mad. Imlie ki naam ki apology - she does not think what she did was wrong. Imlie is yet to acknowledge Surya did not have any ill intentions towards her and she had a misunderstanding. After the way Surya saved the wedding and praised her, took a stand for her, I wished she was more embarrassed for the slap and apologetic too. SIGH. Her conditional apology to Tayi is why she is not getting accepted in this household. I did not like her preachy dialogues. If someone accuses your family members, you don't sit there and not react right.

So precap they are bringing her bar dancer past out when Imlie is hopeful to give her exams... Can we cut the family drama please? Precap should be Surya and Imlie and not these scenes. Dekhne wale bhi chod denge dekhna ye show.

Also can I say how Malti is a different level of delusional if she thinks that her husband is innocent after shooting both Imlie and Surya. Her mother is enabling her at the moment and even Tayyi isn’t correcting her anymore. If she’s going to stay negative, can we get more screen time for Chachi instead?

Totally out of place tha .. they are still supporting Raghu .. even if he is frustrated with imlie what right he has to shoot her ??? Dumb Malthi and Nirmala doesnot understand that ??? What are the creative thinking before writing such scenes ???

After finally pausing, rewinding and rewatching multiple times, here's my synopsis:

Things that could have been better..

1. Imlie's akad needs to go bhai.. Tayyar toh wo ab Surya ke liye hi hui hai, I am 100% sure, toh thoda matlab ladke se ache se baat karlo yaar....

2. The apology should have been more prominent, but ok whatever, if they don't wanna show, what can we do...

3. The yellow shirt.. OMG.. I rolled my eyes so high, the pupils went up in my head.. Bhai ye atyachar karne ke paise milte hain kya inko..

Things I absolutely adored today, and hold a high repeat value for me..

1. SPR talking about how women should never feel shy in thrashing folks who mistreat them, even their husbands (lowkey messaging about marital-rape too)

2. The BGM, the vibes, the acting of all supporting case in that tilak scene

3. Arjun throwing flowers at Surlie... Arjun bhi ekdam daadu aur Surya pe gaya hai.. Mahesh ko chorke, all other 3 men are Sweetu Pyaaru Reddys y'all..

4. CJ bro taking teen deviyon ka class was chef's kiss.. and his previous dialogue.. agar tum log ye function attend nai karoge, meri parvarish pe sawal uthenge..

5. Imlie telling Tai-amma, that mothers and infact parents have this tendency to self doubt their sanskaar, but beyond a point, they aren't accountable for their actions...

(I know in the context she made at this point, she still felt SPR is Rowdy., which was really uncalled for, after what all he has done for her.. but here I am referring to the point made, & ignoring her intent)

And then her sunaofying Nirmala and storming off ( I like this wali Imlie..)

6. The entire sequence of Arjun teasing SPR.. and Imlie coming down the stairs.. OMG! OMG! OMG!

If the writers are capable of such high class content, why do they make us sweat for it..

7. The jhopdi sequence, where Maami does aarti and says.. "Daro nai Imlaiya, kha nai jaaengi Maami".. Bhai what an actress.. I chucked..

8. And that hand holding and haq se flirting with Imlie by Surya.. how long have we been waiting for that y'all..

(I repeat, agar wo yellow shirt ki jagah, Arjun wala pink linen shirt hota, ya anything.. other than this yellow.. even kal wala purple bhi hota.. the scene would have such aesthetic value... Khair.. Trying to avoid it..)

P.S - I was rewatching some old episodes when SPR made an entry ( for inspiration you know.. ), and I guess Sai was quite lean then, abhi phirse thoda he has gained muscles, hair is longer, and foundation is also back to normal.. Pura ka pura Auggy, except obviously stark difference in the styling.. Hamara Auggy aise kapde kabhi na pehane..

Yes these short episodes are really frustrating. They are cutting down the telecast of Imlie and the 7:30PM show to give more weightage to the 8PM show. But since the trps fell huge for the show I really hope we don't have to sacrifice more next week. Today episode felt like it ended so quickly - Sigh.
