Today's episode is good but short.

I don't understand why Tayiji is has this much regressive thinking of women doing work outside home. But after watching today's episode she is not that bad, she genuinely felt about bubul's marriage. She really loves,and very much proud of Surya, even though he went against her and married Imlie and still supporting Imlie. When she calls Surya as "Surya nanna" I feel so much affection in her voice.❤️

I also wake up my sun calling him "Nanna le"😊

Yes we are losing time whenever Ghum has longer episodes. The last 2 episodes even Pandya Store the 7:30pm show aired shorter episodes so I am guessing that is how the 8pm show is getting 30 mins for telecast.

Indira yesterday had hurt of a mother and I loved the way she took Imlie to task. Imlie needs to apologize to the family for character assassination of Surya - not once but twice.

@bold : - oh my mom used to call my brothers Nanna and me Bomma or Bangaram. Sigh the endearing voice in mother’s call is simply unmatched. I miss her so much since she passed away

Thank you. Yes it has been some years since she passed away the pain is lesser but it still remains.

Again a short episode. Looks like SP is betting heavily on Ghum to get the trps but this week ke episodes of Ghum have been pathetic so I am really dreading kahi lene ke dene na padh jaaye. But anyway it is a decision taken at the channel level so I am hoping it is not going to effect Imlie too much.

Surya comes in and explains why Imlie slapped him. The hurt was there in his voice. He was not angry that Imlie slapped but he was definitely hurt that Imlie thought so low of him. Anyway the family agrees to the proposal and they have the tilak ceremony done. Finally heard a retro song on the show.

Arjun is a show stealer - the way he was cutely throwing flowers on Surya and Imlie and teasing them. It was so nice to see Surya finally be happy. I expected Imlie to be sorry but I guess she writing the sorry note means she is done saying sorry. Okay whatever.

Mami invites Surya and Imlie for dinner in the evening. Indira asks Nirmala if she knew the engagement was happening that day and why did she invite the family over as she wanted to talk personally with Imlie's family only. Nirmala is trying to escape the blame game and Imlie comes in and she still stands by her words. For her Surya is still wrong but she never intended to hurt Tayiji's parvarish - Yeh baat kuch hazam nahin huyi. How is Surya wrong ? See if Agastya was destined to die that day he would have died - if not due to the attempted shooting by guru bhai, he would have died due to the failed brakes. Anyway at least Imlie accepted that she has hurted Tayiji's feelings and is ready to apologize to her every day.

In the evening Surya is waiting for Imlie to come so that they can go to dinner. I thought it would be good clothes but dang how is the stylist giving these weird flowery shirts to Sai ? Thank god at least the foundation is gone and Sai was actually glowing in that color. And finally Imlie made some effort to look decent and like a married woman. Both come to Mami's house and Mami does arthi of Surya.

Surya is melting fast - He was asking about the poem Imlie wrote. Bechare ko lene ke dene na padh jaaye. Hopefully Imlie won't blast him off again. Did not understand the precap. Surya and Malti both know that Imlie was a bar singer before marriage to Agastya. So why exactly is the family shocked to see dancing and singing video of Imlie ?

The only good thing is a little acceptance from Imlie that she was wrong. She took a little effort to dress up as Surya's wife today. But I was disappointed to see that Imlie has not verbally apologized to Surya.

Watched it. Again a short episode today. The 7:30PM ka show also has a short duration. So maybe it is channel ka strategy. Hopefully it will not backfire on them. I have written a review and tagged you. Check it out.

So aaj bhi episode shuru hote hi khatam hua. But this was a more palatable episode because we got Imlie in better clothes and Surya-Imlie scenes.

First things first, things I loved:

1. Finally we are witnessing some progress between the two. I am loving the eye locks, nods and awkwardness between Surya and Imlie.

2. I am sure his heart skipped a beat when he saw his wife dressed up, coming down the stairs.

3. Happy to see Imlie give him water to drink, jhopdi scenes have my heart. These too can be civil with each other too.

4. He is low-key flirting with her by holding her hand and saying she can be his nishana anytime LOL.

5. Bechara SPR Imlie se darr gaya, took the blame for coming late on himself.

6. Loved the UP vibes and songs, Arjun is a sweetheart and CJ too.

7. Finally a better outfit for Imlie.

Things I absolutely did not like:

1. Surya ke kapde. Everyday they keep giving him bakwas outfits.

2. Imlie not apologizing to Surya. Mooh se apology kyu nai boli ja rahi isse.

3. CJ, Nirmala, Tayi and Malti scene was extremely long. Malti ki delulu to justify Raghu trying to hurt Imlie/ Surya. Iska kuch nai ho sakta.

4. Tanu is going to be mad. Imlie ki naam ki apology - she does not think what she did was wrong. Imlie is yet to acknowledge Surya did not have any ill intentions towards her and she had a misunderstanding. After the way Surya saved the wedding and praised her, took a stand for her, I wished she was more embarrassed for the slap and apologetic too. SIGH. Her conditional apology to Tayi is why she is not getting accepted in this household. I did not like her preachy dialogues. If someone accuses your family members, you don't sit there and not react right.

So precap they are bringing her bar dancer past out when Imlie is hopeful to give her exams... Can we cut the family drama please? Precap should be Surya and Imlie and not these scenes. Dekhne wale bhi chod denge dekhna ye show.

Sai ki akkal kya ghas charne gayi hai, why cant he object to these weird clothes he is made to wear? He was looking so handsome, the yellow shirt was such a let down.

Imlie still has the thinking that she can live life on her terms. That is why she is not clicking with the audience. She is never making an effort to connect to the family. It is like she is going to be a Mount Everest on her own and everyone has to make an effort to understand her DDP. Sigh - Whatever.

I liked CJ ka scene when he told Nirmala and Indira that when you invite relatives you don't serve insult but rather treat them with respect.

I love CJ and Arjun - they are very good additions to the cast. And I loved the return of retro songs and vibes.
