I disagree Abhira name was shipped by fans with abhimanyu and Akshara. It’s just makers used the name to ship the trp. Coincidentally it also happens to be Abhira parents.. just throwing the logic out there. Abhira was the name given by fans when harshad and pranali did the interview. No offence to jay soni fans.

This season is sasta with sasta actors, sasta costumes, sasta sets. Totally Sasta budget, so no losses. They won't end it

I haven't watched any previous gens, but from what I see on SM and twt, viewers from Gen 1 are all saying the same thing – Rishta stopped being Rishta after Gen 2, the vibes are just gone. Gen 3 was bad, and Gen 4 went even further downhill in terms of character execution and plot. They should've never picked up this Ghum plot cuz they're clearly failing to execute it with any proper storyline. My mom stopped watching this show on TV – triangle drama aside, she finds the story very bad, no drama, nothing. Even the fl, they're making her dumb thats why my mom said. My mom prefers characters like Sai, she even likes Savi, I don't know why tho. Tbh, Rishta is still going on because it has a loyal fanbase who will watch it no matter what. They'll complain about the plots but still watch it. Other shows on SP come and go, but Rishta wouldn't have survived if it didn't have such a loyal fanbase. I don't think they're going to notice anything – if the TRP stays low, they're going to do something to bring in another leap. Idk, but I think stretching it to another gen is kinda hard, but who knows.

Sp can not even see a slight dip in trp and now for sure i know some one is going to die in poddar and same blame game going to happen. Isse accha serve quality content which ppl would remember than serving just nonsense to earn the tag of 15 years legacy show.

Ipl ka reason us time bhi Diya tha but then it was countered ki xyz people got 2+3+5+ ratings ipl se kuch matlab nhi tha. But ab wahi reason hai

I think no matter what Shahi is planning to complete 5000 episodes - that will be a milestone. It's currently on 4325 episodes - more 675 episodes to go - means atleast another year and half... Unless something big happens or the trp drops drastically to 0.9 or lower i don't think the channel and the ph will end it.

Wrong! Rishta became sasta due to Ruhi Birla's family (arrey Sirat and no one else!). No one wants to watch a bhabhi lusting for her husband's brother, no one wants to watch a random stranger like her coming in between a legally wedded husband and wife, and most importantly no wants to watch Ruhi Birla throwing herself time and time again on the man (this is literally harassment).
