Stars and music videos

John Abraham has made a grand entrance to the world of music videos with Strings' Koi Aanewala Hai where he plays an angel who turns human. But there are other Bollywood stars who have made this foray a long time ago. Here are a few interesting ones.

Kunal Ganjawala and Roop Johri: Honey Honey

Starring: Salman Khan

Salman reportedly appeared in this video because good friend Roop asked him to. Not much of a change in his own roop, Salman plays the boy next door. And next door to whom? Not one, but two Sallu-crazy women going Honey Honey. During the latter half of the video, the Sallubrious Khan shows off his six-pack and some fake tattoos that aren't as unreal as the end of the video – Salman actually lets the peeping girls dance with him. Hey Salman, what about the hordes of people crowded around your house every Sunday? When will you let them into your arms?

Atal Bihari Vajpayee: Samvedna

Starring: Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh brings out his best saddy faced ex-pressions in this unconventional music video. It could be that he was rehearsing for Devdas, which got released two years later. The message of the song is good but unfortunately it didn't make much of an impact on anyone. Maybe, Shah Rukh's interesting music videos are only reserved for promoting his own cricket team or television programmes.

Adnan Sami: Tera Chehra

Starring : Rani Mukherjee

It's the only music video to have featured Rani. She is a perfect contrast to Adnan and not just with reference to the size! The song has bit of a glamour edge to it as it shows Rani having a nice time in a tub. Even with the song's eerie settings Rani manages to look charming and gorgeous.

Jal: Chalte Chalte

Starring: Amrita Rao

Amrita Rao is shown simply having fun in this video with the Jal boys. As soon as the video got released rumours of affair between Amrita and Jal lead singer Farhan Saeed started. There is no apparent chemistry between the two in the video but of course reality is always full of surprises. If the rumours are true then Jal's album name couldn't have been more appropriate- Love Sparks Across The Border!

Himesh Reshammiya: Naam Hai Tera

Starring: Deepika Padukone

From army outfits to ball gowns Deepika sported a very versatile look in this video. But she looks a bit stiff during her dancing moves. She couldn't have helped it because she had just entered Bollywood from her ramps. One thing everyone agreed about this video was that she looked stunning in it. The song has the clichd Beauty and the Beast!
