I haven't seen a mother like her who has love for her children. Weirdly, she does not show love for her son because they are not successful and, at the same time loves Rohit and not Armaan. Isn't Armaan more successful than Rohit? I don't understand her character.

I think she feels herself burdened to jamaisa..

She thinks ki if he wouldn't have step up in her need of crisis,they would have been on road..

So she makes him feel like God,as she feels his ehsaan..

And thats the same reason she hates Armaan,becoz apparently his elder son madhav keft them in that crisi for armaan's mon who she doesn't approve of and armaan is kind of a reminder to her..

And manoj must have been very young at that time as he is youngest of all three so he must be new to the field and sanjay used that as an opportunity to bully him and seeing his mother treating his jija as some angel,he must have tolerated that chupchap se and than slowly steadily he must have lost his confidence and kaveri again become dependant on sanjay for firm to be stable and allow the bullying assuming she had no option...

Its not like she doesn't speak up..she does but when she thinks that things are veing very ott as when sanjay at place of taunting,shouted on manoj she did stopped him but obviously its not clear cut insult infact back-hand comments also need to be called out and manisha did that for husband..

Same way kajal,it seem kaveri doesn't know of physical abuse,I know its laughable but it seem she doesn't kniw as we have seen how kajal herself is not ready to accept that...

Now in case of Armaan,she dislike armaan but at the same time knows that for their firm beside her favourite jamaisa its armaan who can handle,and mybe even more successful but she wanted rohit to take that plce,she had belief also ki one day rohit will surpass armaan..in rohit's case he was not shown low in confidence as manoj neither rebel like madhav and nor son of her disliked ldy..so rohit was perfect candidate acc. To her thats the reason she was so obsessed with rohit..

Ohh i forgot to mention, I like phuphasa. Even if he has a grey shaded character, he is soo entertaining. Whenever armaan shows concern/affection/worry for abhira, phuphasa has his trademark expression on his face.
