Everytime you brag about how Rani bagged Chalte Chalte remember that there was a long list of actresses before Rani up for the part. Besides Aish, also Kajol and Amisha. Kajol had enough good taste to say no, Amisha was cheated by her manager and not even told the part was given to her. Juhi, had audiences not rejected her as a leading lady when Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani flopped, would automatically have received the role as she was always the heroine in the films she and SRK jointly produced at that point. BTW, very interesting that Gadar was offered to Kajol and Aishwarya before being offered to Amisha. Once more, this shows that these three actresses were all above Rani in the pecking order as she wasn't even considered.

It was a stroke of luck Rani got the role but at the cost of a friendship she claimed was as close to her as a sister. Rani lost out and couldn't even get an invite to the biggest wedding of the century. Meanwhile, Preity won out because she earned Aishwarya's friendship and actually was invited to the wedding. Meanwhile Rani cried about it in the media, always playing the victim. Posting below before you deny it.

And always remember that Rani bagging Chalte Chalte comes with a lot of bad karma. Salman was the offender but Rani helped twist the knife. See below this public appearance and note that Aish is wearing sunglasses to this awards ceremony and has a broken arm. Why? Because she was badly beaten up by Salman and was covering for him by claiming she fell. This bad karma of Salman's abuse has multiplied to Rani for her efforts in perpetuating this abuse by not standing up for her friend and taking advantage of her low situation. Kajol and Preity have so much more integrity.
