He looks good as Ram.

Ravi looks as bland as Sunny Singh.

They should have casted Anant Vidhaat Sharma as Laxman. He has good screen presence, and is a good supporting actor as well.

I don't understand. Is this some version of Ramayan recreation where everyone is old? Like Ramayan atrophied ver 2.0? Why do they actively want us to imagine the Gods as 40 year old stocky men when they are anything but.

They should have cast Vicky as Lakshman if they absolutely had to go with Ranbir as Ram.

Otherwise, a Masaan-esque Vicky would have been a perfect fit as Ram.

Umm they just want a hit. Warna itne saare versions ho gaye Ramayana ke, I miss those days when people made movies like Rajneeti as modern interpretations of ancient epics

A hit with Ramayana, in this political climate? Hayeee. If Adipurush hasn't taught them anything, then nothing can. Bollywood is better off regurgitating sappy KJo-esque rom coms.

Side note : Prime doesn't have the Hindi dub for Adipurush.

People just mass produce lazy mythos and historicals and rarely anything ever sticks with Bollywood. Yaar I miss Girish Karnad.

Vicky and Ranbir already worked together and are doing love and war. I need new chemistry otherwise it is just repetitive.
