She did wonder that day when she heard on phone as of why voice is like her mother's..

Now in public noise and in speaker maybe she was unable to identify

Yes they age .. especially singers .. if they are not constantly doing riyaaz for hours . Their voice quality will start dropping drastically

Akshara when she recorded this song was a trained singer .. doing vocal performances.. I guess so ..

And when Abhira heard her that was I guess 15 years later she may just be a casual singer doing lori and morning prayers .. Infact I think she stopped singing for quite some time .. I had seen clips of that
