Most actors might dress and act differently depending on the screen where their show will air. I can imagine them not wanting to be ridiculed for their choices as on the big screen everything is amplified.

The twins did a lot of work on tv when they were teens. And they started instagram at the right time, so they gained a lot of traction with the social media bloom. Also, their vlogs are loved by the masses, with their family in tow, they give a very relatable vibe on camera, might be a different story off stream.
