The new ones are definitely an upgrade. Shehzada was good at romance/ heat eyes and bringing a softness in Armaan that I felt bad for him even when I was super irritated by his antics/decisions. But he was bad at a lot of things. He did improve a little on his emotional scenes but he has a long way to go and the attitude, swag wale scenes tho he was never able to carry. I remember when the script of the scene on day after Yuvraj attacked Abhira in PH and Armaan wanted to accompany Abhira to make sure she is safe was leaked. The script wanted Armaan to come out of car with swag and all but in the actual scene it fell flat. Even in the Makar sankranti episode and infront of Yuvraj when PH attack happened, the attitude and swag that the dialogues implied were absent.

On paper Armaan is supposed to be a confident lawyer who is cool as a cucumber in the middle of the court hearing where the opposition is seemingly winning, who knows he is admired by the ladies and proud of that, who doesnt give a damn that people are staring at him n his wife cuz they are shoeless or when he is carrying his wife bridal style in front of his fam or society. But he is also the same guy who tears up easily, pacifies people, wants to please his family especially his dadisa and Vidya because of the way he grew up and his issues of being unloved and fear of losing his loved ones. He can be selfless, patient, responsible, kind, emphatetic, dutiful but also delusional, selfish, impulsive in anger etc. And Armaan and Abhira's relationship is so unique. He lets her dominate him but also takes reign when he feels things are going overboard yet ultimately she wins. He becomes a child along with her but also takes care of her. Scolds her but also pampers her. The softness, fondness, irritation, exaspertaion.. like there isnt an emotion that he doesn't go through with her lol And a lot of their relationship is based on becoming each other's habit and the extreme emotional attachment they developed. The gestures and nuances that come with that comfort level between the characters can't be replicated in a few eps lol Rohit Purohit has the acting range to bring all that screen though I found him a bit awkward today in Abhira and Armaans scene after the trip and fall but he got the swag, attitude and confident part down. Abhira and Armaan look good together. He has a soft voice and based on BTS clips he has the potential to be the Armaan that was always on paper. Shehzada needed months to become the Armaan that we now know, with some time Rohit will adjust to the character too.

Coming to Ruhi she is supposed to be a grey character. Not evil or vamp. She acts out when it comes to her B Nanu and Armaan cuz of her insecurites and abandonment issues but otherwise she doesnt hate Abhira. Garvita brings out the chirpy and cute Ruhi that kid Ruhi and initial Gen4 Ruhi was but she also gave vamp wale expressions today which doesn't suit Ruhi's character(so far) lol maybe the character will turn darker or Garvita has to tone it down. Prev actor was so so bad so anything is better than that.

Yeah I remember that,the script was not leaked Samridhi shared a glimpse of it in her stories and (i still remember lol) it was written "armaan comes out of the car with full swag" something like that and I was so anticipated about that scene especially him taking out her bag and all but alas,that scene delivered ✨nothing✨

Ruhi was actually chirpy in the beginning but she turned out to be on full on serious mode post her wedding.She only seemed happy whenever she was with armaan lol + she was super serious and irritated with both armaan and abhira and the last scene sheh and prat had together was when armaan bajaoed ruhi infront of whole fam,so her suddenly being so nice and sweet didn't make any sense tbh.Garvita might've been probably told that her character is all about simping/lusting on her brother in law,so maybe that's why she's channelling her inner mrunal (bkas character)

These two actors made me facepalm most of the time lol The whole narrative, dialogues, scene direction, cliches etc present a picture of what Armaan and Ruhi are feeling. From a bigger picture perspective I can see where they are coming from but then their expressions would say something else entirely. The writers themselves are going for a traingle where no one is a villian and it is actually interesting on paper but two of the characters that need to potray the nuances are so bad. Hopefully the new ones are much, much better.

The script made it sound very different from what we actually got on screen. I thought it was fake at first cuz of the way everything was described.

Ruhi imo is blind in "love". In her desperation to be loved and not being alone she is taking the people who have always been there for her, B Nanu, B Nani etc for granted. (I'm hoping there comes a point she regrets that badly like she regretted her treatment of Rohit).

From what I understand the new actors barely had any time to even understand their characters and regarding continuity... Im impressed with the way they made last week a kind of farewell for all the og armaan's fans while also making the new actor's entry be as seamless as possible.. so I dont mind waise bhi ITV hain

I saw some comments on twitter.. that garvita has strong screen presence and can outshine Sam if given a chance.. I know thoda exaggerated claims hai, but I agree garvita having strong screen presence while prat had zero acting skills and screen presence … some actors naturally have it.. it doesn’t matter what role you play, good bad or evil.. you grab people’s attention.. Gaurav as Yuvraj is also an example… it’s good that Sam got equally talented co workers… and new Ar se zyaada new Ruhi pe itna charcha horaha hai twitter pe….

Did you catch Samriddhi-Garvita IV on SBB? These two got on like fire.
Rubhira 2.0 are GOALS....... these two are going to rock the Gen 4. Ruhi will give Abhira a lot of tashan, and it is this tashan that will push Armaan in Abhira's direction.

I feel in today's episode, Armaan was already shown to give attention to Abhira more..... I mean Ruhi was right next to them, but Abhimaan were so engrossed in their embrace, that they did not even register Ruhi's presence. Abhira I still can understand, but Armaan not acknowledging Ruhi was HUGE. It means she is getting off his radar often now. (I can see Manisha Chachi shouting out with joy with such happy tidings.)

Also if you can, watch Armaan while Rubhira were at their thandai competition. His eyes were glued more to Abhira and everytime he would look at Ruhi, it was with exasperation. It felt like he was sure Abhira would win, but then Ruhi did.

I am excited for tomorrow's episode, where both Abhimaan get caught under the pandal. Makers are trying to bring in Gen 2 tropes. Kaira used to do romance under the table. These two soon will be seeing romancing underneath the blanket/pandal/some kind of big cloth piece. IMHO, RP and SS can really get themselves in the same hall of fame that Kaira used to occupy... if they play smart.

New Ruhi is how I thought the OG Ruhi Chuhi would be like all grown up. Bubbly, childlike, chirpy. I guess the bhatakti aatma mode of Ruhi from the past few months will be overwritten eventually and we'll forget that it even existed.

Armaan, well I'll reserve my comments till I see Abhimaan together in multiple scenarios. However I do feel, the actor is trying too hard at the moment to fill the shoes of the previous Armaan. He'll do better if he loosens up and let things progress organically.

It’s too early to form any opinion.

If you are going to compare, then you need to take the factor that in some scenes Sheh was overly expressive which sometimes comes across as bad acting. Where as what I saw today is Rohit’s acting is mild, nothing was exaggerated or over the top. Now these nuances can also affect romantic scenes, where we are used to see Sheh’s expressiveness & not used to Rohit’s mildness. & there’s also a fact that he is very new to the show & there weren’t many romantic scenes or emphasis on it. So it’s going to be adjustment on both actor’s & audience’s side.

New Ruhi will be accepted more easily, bcz she was a grey character & new actress is able to portray it very easily. It remains to see whether she can portray her innocence or not. But right now, Ruhi is a grey character who is more negative than positive. & this actress can express her jealousy & all the negative emotions quite well.

For me, it's too soon to judge Rohit as Armaan but honestly, I teared up today when Ruhi said she missed Akshara Maasi...it gave so much Baby Ruhi vibes
