If I entertain the Radha and Ayaan storyline in my head, Aayan was mislead by his family to believe that Radha was having an affair. He used to see her weep for her Shyam every night. It lead him to feel jealous but ultimately humbled by the idea of his wife being loved by a god.

Maybe Tayi-jhi will use Imlie’s love for Agastya as a way to try and make it seem like she’ll never fully be Surya’s. On paper, Imlie is the perfect bahu. She’s super sanskari and knows how to cook culinary chef level food. The only way, they could make her look misfit is if they tried to make her seem impolite towards them or if they tried to make her seem disloyal.

Surya would need to have some level of feelings for her by then for this scenario to work. In the beginning, I don’t think his guilt would allow him to think ill of Imlie. He considers himself responsible for her misery, he wouldn’t dare doubt her because of his family’s words.

It’s bound to be interesting for sure, especially with how they’ll portray Surya and Imlie’s early marital days. There’s also the Shiv-Parvati equation that needs to be built somewhere in there.

Kashish Do you really think the creatives are going to write Radha - Krishna parallel here ? Radha was never married to Krishna and maybe that is why Agastya died so immediately after marriage. I too think Surya is not going to think ill of Imlie at least in the beginning as Imlie has nothing but truthful with him and he also knows that Agastya was killed in his place.

Later on when Surya falls for Imlie I feel the insecurities will creep up and he will feel bad when Imlie will still continue to harbor feelings for her dead husband. Let's see how they show Surya and Imlie scenes together. We are going to see them share a room after so long - after the contract marriage period of 6 months ended. I am looking forward to seeing Surya watching Imlie sleep in night or Imlie seeing Surya sleeping early in the morning.

Fun fact: According to the Brahma Vaivarta Purana and the Garga Samhita, Krishna and Radha allegedly had a marriage hidden from society in the forest of Bhandirvan which is in current day UP.

There’s actually a festival called Phulera Dooj which celebrates this divine union and it falls on the month’s of February and March. Don’t know if the show creators thought that deep but still a nice coincidence that it’s around the same time as Agastya and Imlie’s real wedding.

So the new family will consist of:

Tayiji and chacha- official villains or grey shaded character of show

Nirmala Amma- she will a prop just like Alka whose is bitter and whose opinions won't affect anyone. But she won't indulge in out and out planning plotting or harm anyone

Malti- The easily misguided sister of hero who don't like heroine. She will be supporter of Anjali .

Anjali- She might have brain of her own and she will have backing of Tayiji to get Surya back . Tayiji will fuel her delusions more

Finally chachi and jugnu will be the only positive character who will side with Imlie and help her.

Please don't bring Gods and compare them with these tv storylines please it's a disrespect.

Imlie being strong and panga lene wali will definitely work for the show. It will lead to many kalesh. I want kalesh and not insults. Agar Imlie chup ho gayi to woh insult ho jayega.

Kashish, I am really amazed by your knowledge on Radha- Krishna. You truly are Radha Rani’s fan girl.

Unfortunately, I don’t think, the makers have done any such research. These ITV stories are very superficial. They just keep twisting plots as per the numbers.

I know another mythological story attached with phulera dhooj.

phulera means flower and dooj is second day . on second day of Shukl paksh Radha Krishna played Holi with flowers

Another thing is just like you said it has some significance with marriage. Marriage can be performed on this day without any auspicious muhurat. Agastya imlie too married without considering any auspicious timing because their union was not meant in this world but it was divine

Our Imaliya is back Though she will be heartbroken with the marriage, I am glad we won’t see her grieving in some corner of the house. She needs to up her game against the Reddy family.

Tayiji is the quintessential vamp our show never had. She can’t be compared to Daadi, Daadi was a loving matriarch to Agasthya. Here Taiyiji won’t hesitate before playing any mind games or even cause harm. After all Surya isn’t their blood line.

I am actually curious to see how Surya reacts to this new phase of life. He has been very quiet and majboor for the past few days. He may live in guilt and become a refree between his wife and family. But I can’t have him lose his spark. I need a strong ML

Imlie’s mangalsuta seems to be silver here, not gonna lie I miss the one she wore during the contract era. It suited her so well and it just was beautiful in general. The sindoor really pops on Adrija’s complexion.
