Ranbir's parents - Careless?

I am surprised that Ranbir's parents haven't yet showed any concern about Durga. How could they let Ranbir and Durga stay at the Garodia house for so long? Durga was feeling sick and Ranbir pretended to the Garodias that he will have to leave work to take care of her so the Garodias insisted that they stay with them. Well, weren't Ranbir's parents shown as quite wealthy? They could've asked for a nurse to take care of her regularly. Another thing is that his parents didn't even come to meet Durga nor have they called to ask of her well-being.

If Ranbir's parents had interacted with Durga and Ranbir after marriage, his mother would've definitely been doubtful that this so called Ranbir is not really her own son. It would've been nice to see her supporting Saraswati and helping her fight for the truth.

very true, its looks like as if Ranbir's parents dissappeared into thin air. Their bahu is seriously ill and they don't even come to visit. And the Garodias as well are dense for not even wondering why Durga's in-lawas did not come to visit. All of them are just blindly standing there and dancing to Bhav's tunes.

The writers are not showing reality......b/c in reality the in-laws would have showed up for visits......and they wouldn not have liked it that Ranbir would have lived with his in-laws if they are sooo rich.

Niyati also doesn't seem to think anything is fishy....

I guess when she moves in with Yuvraj, she will start to notice...

They have done two BIGGGGGGGGGG mistakes .

1] They r showing a conservative gujju drama . Conservative Indians will HATE their son living for so long in sasural.....besides , Durga is newly married . Do the creatives know what a hoo haa will be there in the sasural if she goes to her maayka each time she falls ill ? At the most they will relent and say ok let bahu remain there , u [ the son] come back after leaving her there .

2] Niyati was supposed to be Ranbirs friend but they r showing absolutely no interaction between Niyati and Ranbir . Even when she is in the house ....they r not showing Niyati wondering at saraswatis outbursts or finding sumthing diffrent about Bhavishya . This is ridiculous .

I totally agree...the writers work in their own vacuum.....

I agree. Niyati was initially shown as Ranbir's friend. They should've showed her interacting with Ranbir. It seems as if showing her as Ranbir's friend was just to mark her entry in the show. Afterwards, the creatives have only focused on her as Yuvraj's love interest. šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

yeah I agree with you. But I think it will come after everything is over...I mean saras will be sent to the asylum, durga will be really sick like she is going to die. Then only their parents will come and be surprised that durga is like this. I don't even think they know.

Yes, Ranbir's parents may show up later as the writers invite them back in šŸ˜• but that'll be awfully careless on their part. How could the writers not even show the parents' concern about the state their son and daughter-in-law are? Even Niyati, who was shown as Ranbir's childhood friend I believe, did not have any interaction with him afterwards.

Now that Niyati is married to Yuvraj and have entered the Garodia parivaar, the writers could've showed her talking to the so called Ranbir and feeling suspicious of his identity.

There are so many ways the writers can make this story better. Sending Saraswati to the asylum has degraded the value of the storyline.
