Shahmeer and Dawood have a talk. It's clear Dawood himself is against this alliance but using Suleiman's excuse to keep himself and his political party safeguarded. Quite manipulative.

Suleiman pretending to be a victim of all this betrayal facade. Gosh, can't let his daughter talk to Shahmeer. I feel Shahmeer is definitely is going to die, IMO. Otherwise, it could be a happy ending. Let's see what occurs.

Honestly, I felt bad for Sulaiman..he's getting gaslighted by everyone..his wife, Sukaina, his son in law, his sister...

Shibra's mom saying Shameer has done so much for us and Shibra saying he's going to die was too much for me to take. Arey, stop manipulating him into giving his approval.

The Bhaley scene was so off. I just want them to end it now..it has had it's good run and it really is the time for climax.

Ultimately, it's the makers' choice as to how weave out the plot.

Even Shibra's death is a rumor so might wait till the writers actually weave out the plot. Let's see kya hota h.

If he dies then he would after they are married I guess since there has been pictures of their marriage ceremonies & that would be so sadistic of the writers

I liked Shahmeer's scene with Dawood the most. Both Dawood & Suleiman are keeping their egos over their kids' happiness. Suleiman sahab has every right to feel betrayed but he lost me when he rejected FB because of his social status after talking about Halal & Haram all his life.

Also, Shahmeer giving job to Zohaib was not rishwat ki naukri. He created it for him & didn't take someone else's right. I remember him earlier talking to Faraz to create something for him. It's a gift for Sukaina.

Bilal was so good throughout. Durre needs to work on her diction badly. Her expressions are somewhat fine.

I completely forgot new episode is up and from the precap itself I can tell nothing much happened.

They simply ignored all the lies and manipulation of shahmeer and is making Sulaiman who is the only one reacting properly the bad person . Like wtf?

Shibra is one of the most one dimensional dumb character ever. She even surpassed meerab. No matter how annoying meerab got she atleast reacted to situations. Shibra is like so what shahmeer did identity theft and lied through his teeth from the moment I met him, his lobe is true . How little self respect one will have to just sweep it all under the rug like that? If she was such a doormat why did we bare all those unbareable lectures with bad acting in the initial episodes? just show her as a pretty girl with no personality or self respect from the start.

It doesn't matter if shahmeer bribed a job for sukaina and her husband or made one. The fact remains he got them a govt job these two are not capable of getting on their own. Tomorrow he will create a special position for shibra which will be above a civil service officer if he wants to and shibra will be like I deserve it because I couldn't crack civil services exams because I was busy roaming around with my lover who pretended to be somone else to manipulate me to fall for him . She will be like 'Since I didn't get the job because of shahmeer he just compensated it by making one for me. This is not corruption or misusing power but his true lobe for me. So it don't affect my principles or ethics which I preach to anyone and everyone at any given time'

It's not about compromising on self respect, it's an ego boost for her. A guy leaving his king's life to live on rags for her is definitely something one wouldn't overlook but you are right about her principles part. She has bent her morals for love.

May be I'm liking how different the character is. She's neither that typical headstrong girl we are used to watch nor the meek one we grew up hating. I was so tired of watching the same two kinds of female leads in every single show. They don't excite me anymore.

Same with Shahmeer, I like the calmness he has.

I wish Durre could perform better though.

The problem is they are showing whatever shahmeer did as a very small thing. If it's an ego boost for her then she should be shown as someone with an ego and who sees herself to be superior and above all which they don't. There is something called character graph and shibra just don't have it. It doesn't matter if a character comes under a stereotypical headstrong girl or abla naari as long as their is character consistency and as an audience we understand why they are the way they are. Like hala from mere humsafar. Yes she is an abla naari but we as audience get why she is the way she is. She has abandonment issues and has been mentally and physically tortured for years. She won't be anything other than an under confident meek submissive girl. So her not knowing how to handle any situation or falling for a guy instantly for giving her some attention is completely understandable. Same with zubia in yks. She comes from a loveless family and her only support system her mother died suddenly due to her father. So we get why she fell for the wrong guy and decided to elope with him and then the entire journey of her from there onwards is very understandable. We also get why aaliya in KA is headstrong or Kasaf in zgh is headstrong. We know if shahmeer did all that with an Aaliya or a Kasaf then he would have never gotten another chance with these girls.

Shibra is nothing but a very badly written and badly portrayed character. She don't have any character graph and her only purpose is to be the love interest of the male lead. She don't have a personality at all. Just to justify the ml falling for her she is shown to be headstrong but since that characteristics won't help the ml to get his love after all his lies, they just made her blindly in love with him. She is just a prop that is shaped the way it's convenient for the ml
