There is no doubt, India is patriarchal. But the laws are not. All te property doesn't just go to son. All biological children, irrespective of their sex organs get equal share in property legally.

About property law First thing is Goenkas aren't aware or even bothered about Akshara or her children so in their will she won't be there.

More than mother side you are entitled to the property of your father unfortunately the only thing Abhira's father left behind fpr his family was a debt so.

Even if there is something that they can claim as property it's a show not going to happen.

And as per the show Abhira has no one and no where to go thanks to her mother and father
