So there is no point for these scenes. Even if we remove them, the story will be as pathetic as it is today. A good screen play is the one where all the loose ends will be tied.

Marriage revelation -still she is getting insulted and living in the same home

Instead of filing for divorce, they opted for that regressive ceremony. The makers have lost it. Who goes to a ghaat for annulment even villagers won't do so.
