Ani is becoming better at spy work apparently. 
Basus have now devolved to the point of considering starving and putting Jhanak in jail. The former, I don't support; shows their stupidity in solely blaming the other woman and not their son who is equally responsible. The latter, please do. She would be freer in jail than in this crack house. 
Unfortunately, any sense that Chotton tries to talk them into is useless. As usual. But points achi rakhi thi usne! Their worry is more on the fact what Shristi can do in revenge. Even with all this, I wonder why they are hell-bent on forming a marriage alliance with that deranged woman. I guess because they are all birds of the same feather. Classless classist the lot I say. 
Jhanak talks to Bodo maa about her crippling sadness and wishes she did not exist for which she rightfully gets a scolding from her. The words these vile biatches throw at her are really getting to her these days....
Ani finally does some hero Giri to finish his quota to Arshi. He breaks the door with a hammer and gets hurt but manages to save Arshi despite curses and protests from her mothuuuurrrr. But Banda ka priority abhi bhi same hai, no harm to Jhanak so he hides the note Arshi wrote to implicate the former. 
. I only remember this tagline "Yeh Rishta Kya kehlatha hai?"
The Basus clamor around and try to placate Shrishti as the doctor arrives and thankfully Arshi awakens. I don't understand how slow-acting the sleeping pills must be for her to be asleep the entire night without her liver failing due to pill overdose. Medicine field ka kachara bana rahe hai ye log!
Most puke-worthy scene of the episode. Ani reiterates he did not betray her and proceeds to princess carry her to the hospital. I am sorry, I love Ani and Jhanak so much that this scene just triggered nausea in me
. It feels wrong and disgusting.
On the other side, Appu is trying to console a crying Jhanak and the useless old Hag comes in. I don't wanna waste my time on this future departing soul. 
One interesting thing to note is that there has always been building resentment between Bodo maa and this hag. There is more than what seems to be on the surface. I am 100% on point that she cannot tolerate people who don't share her view. It's either her way or the highway for this hag. That's why she is more in line with shubo and Tanuja. They probably agree with her views. I say once again, this shameless lady is the source of all evil in Basu family. 
. It hurts to say all this for a character who is supposed to be the good ol' grammy. I love my own Grandma very much and hate anyone or any character that besmirches the name of these precious souls who only know love.
At least Appu asks the important question how this hag can forget who saved her husband's life? Such a thankless piece of old wood she is.
Interesting precap, they do the marriage reversal rasam in front of Ani and Arshi does the honors. Both Jhanak and Ani get emotional. More so, I saw Ani shedding tears. Hopefully this guy thinks about why he cried and uses his brain cells for something productive.
