I was laughing throughout the Ani Arshi conversation.
Neither of them love each other in the true sense of the word. With Arshi Ani seems to have fallen in love with the image he has of her and the idea of love! Arshi tho atleast I could see she loves Ani, but not the I love you, so I need you kind of love. It was more like the I need you so I love you kind of love!
Ani is fixated on the image he has of Arshi being sweet to Jhanak and thinks of her as some devi who is just reacting in anger. Dude is completely overlooking the woman who is willing to p1mp a girl out to a tyrant just so she can be happy.
Arshi on the other hand was spot on about noting the change in Anirudh and reading his eyes - I particularly liked her dialogue about Ani willing to risk his life to save Jhanak! But what baffles me, actually it doesn't, it's just cements Arshi's kind of "love" for Ani - she doesn't care if he loves her or not, she just wants him as a trophy, as a vindication for losing to a "maid" in her own words!
I think the precap if Jhanak going with Tejas is Ani's dream - it's not Jhanak's as why is she leaving with Tejas happily in her dream and telling Ani to eff out of her life. I think this is Ani's and the white saree must be Jhanak's dream.

I just want Ani to realize that Arshi is not a woman with pure heart, she is just selfish, self-centered, egoistic person capable to risk her own life to trouble Others.

caught up with the episode a little late....Arshi and Shristi are so bad so bad. Yes, they are angry and in anger people say/talk bad things....but they are out there set out to hand over Jhanak to a scary old man. That is unforgivable. Today yet again felt like Arshi and Shristi deserve every ounce of pain they are going through.
Today yet again - fell in love with Ani, for being honest, true, loyal etc. Even now his concern for Jhanak has not gone away, still wants to protect her from Tejas. Vinayak seems to be a good man, he had sympathy for Urvashi back then similar to Ani looks like....but he couldn't do much to help her.
Arshi's thoughts - let Jhanak die with Tejas, she deserves a man like Tejas, I lost to a maid, and a girl knows when her man is interested in someone else...all thoughts of an upcoming villain.
Ani - if Arshi had given a chance, she could have helped Jhanak together with Ani. She was in her la la land with her mom.
million dollar question still open - where will Jhanak go next (forget abt suicide drama, marriage reversal blah blah)
Ani is very smart, honest person with big heart. He used words very carefully during his conversation with Arshi. When she asked if he is ready to do whatever she says, he doesn’t give blanket promise. Arshi he liked was a good, nice, helpful person. She seemed that way till she was threatened by Jhanak. I think he himself hasn’t realized but he has fallen for Jhanak or marriage to Jhanak is more than he says it is. In the. Whole convo he made clear that he will not give up Jhanaks responsibility. Also even when he speaks about the marriage not being real he talks about jhanaks POV not his.
Arshi’s face when Ani refuses to say he can’t live without her makes it clear where he stands & that she knows it better than him.
Given his position he doesn’t need his families approval to keep jhanak with Boses. Don’t know why he lets them insult her. May be he doesn’t want confrontation with his parents. He doesn’t say much about insults to Choton, Appu & his bade chacha chachi
One thing I remembered today is it was actually Shristi and her brother who actually drove Urvashi to commit suicide, since she has no one in her life….no one is bringing it up. Shristi is capable of doing the same with Jhanak and she kind of hinted at that yesterday 😡
Even Ani knows deep down that Arshi is not a good person. He said it before to his family that they know that Arshi doesn’t really care about Jhanak so there is no need to keep saying ‘Arshi’s sister’. Ani is smart enough and is not blind to all the bullying Arshi and her mom put Jhanak through. He is just fixated on the idea of stability, some sort of delusion that he did not choose the wrong person to marry and that he is still in love with her. Because if there is one thing I have gotten from him, it’s that Ani is self-righteous to the point that end justifies the means for him. He has to be in the right, the perfect man, and the perfect man never loves the wrong person, never falls out of love, and never gets greedy or selfish. I feel out of all three, it’s the last that he is trying to shield from the most. To concede that Arshi is not good or wishes the worst on Jhanak AND the fact that it matters to him means that would mean agreeing that Jhanak means something to him that she shouldn’t, to the point where she has firmly planted herself in his heart. But what’s more horrendous to Ani is that he will have to look at himself without any veneer of hiding behind humanity or goodness and admit that not only had he hurt Jhanak many times, he has used all sorts of methods to keep her with him not out of some divine task, but the primal desire of a man to a woman he cares for. And you know what’s worse? Ani keeps observing Jhanak and her stoic, hard responses make it more imperative for him not to look in that mirror because it would mean leaving the safe space of a woman who is crazy for him and going into unknown territory to a woman who has no shred of desire for him (at least obviously). If Jhanak had been infatuated openly with Ani, something tells me he would have been more forward about ending things with Arshi. Ani loves Ani more than anyone else. He is going to resist even his common sense about Arshi because more than any guilt, it won’t expose his true nature and leave him vulnerable. That’s why he panics whenever Jhanak asks him such questions because it’s too close to home. Ani is going to have to go through some character development because his sense of self and preservation is so high that he would rather be miserable for life than to admit that he is not some deity who is resistant to all sins. Funny thinking it’s guilt about Arshi talking. It’s there, but it’s not the primary factor. Ani literally forgets about Arshi when Jhanak is there.

agreed….his responses were enough to convince Arshi his position. There were no straightforward yes/no answers. It was all pointing back towards Arshi and she was giving the right reactions 😁 to his responses.
I had said this previously- Ani knows how and who to pick his battles with. He doesn’t always jump up n down for all the insults his parents, Lal n Bipasha spit everyday. Smart boy!

Fantastic explanation of Ani’s head space. Did you see the on location video which I shared few mins before. Pls watch it and let us know your thoughts. Actually you have put it so right. Ani does not want to take the step forward without knowing Janak’s mind. This is how any normal human being I believe. When the other person does not feel the same as you, why to go and express yourself and get a first hand of embarrassment. So Ani also wants to believe that he is in love with Arshi and she is his soulmate. On the date day, he did look for signs from Janak’s side to see if she has the same feelings. But Janak is not in the space at all to process these thoughts. She outrighty denied even any such remote possibilities.
One thing I wanted to add - good actors make sub par scripts watchable. So, kudos for Krushal for carrying this.script on his shoulders.
He makes it watchable most of the time!
