Not sure what you mean by liar pants on fire?. But to my observation, Adi was tormented by the fact that he had to keep lying to Malini, his long-term girlfriend turned wife about his marriage to Imlie. His self-righteousness was to the point he was very rigid and inflexible even in his methods. He wanted to tell Malini the truth the minute he realized he loved Imlie and not her regardless of what his family will say and react. That's how honest he is. Honesty is the tagline for AKT lol

Ani is more at ease about the lying part as you said for him the ends justify the means. Kind of in line with his manipulative nature too. The fact that he is doing this for Jhanak's safety puts him at ease about keeping his family in the dark and subtly manipulating them for his advantage/goal. This is why the truth reveal episode was kind of off for me, as there was no visible struggle about keeping this lie going within Ani, unlike Adi which made his outburst disingenuous to a certain extent. Only one instance where he confides in Chotton. I guess you can justify this by saying he is not an open person who will be vulnerable in front of others. Plus, his nature to seek stability, peace and maintain the status quo also pushed him in a direction to keep the lies going.

No no! @Mridzy mentioned in her post that the reversing the marriage rituals could be Jhanak's dreams and Tejas coming to pick Jhanak or Jhanak going off with Tejas could be Anis dream.

I am watching and will update my thoughts, but it's actually Jhanak's dream where the police come to catch her.

What a confuse soul is Ani as if he wants to have both ladies he can’t lose Arshi and nor Jhanak . The police is already there for Jhanak who’s sleeping and Bipasha came to call her.

As we discussed Arshi committed suicide to avenge Jhanak. She wants her horrible family to torment Jhanak after her death..what a noble notion Arshi didi..

Jhanak is shocked she’s under arrest and Ani asked what are the allegations and the warrants Ani read the warrants Lall and Bipasha are so evil and say finally as well as Tanuja. Ani says he will fight for her and she as always refuse to take his help and here the entry the Tejas.

Tejas says to the police Jhanak is his to be wife and is going to Srinsgar with him and they started to leave when Ani holds Tejas arm and says it is not good Jhanak says it is their personal matter Ani says what are you saying and Jhanak says to the police she wants to go to Srinagar so she won’t harm anyone and tells Tejas she wants to go with him. Tejas announces that they are getting married and ask them to come. He invited Ani specially and says Tejas weds Jhanak.
